Setup Guide

Know Your Product

The Logitech Z407 system includes a subwoofer, two satellite speakers (left and right), a wireless control dial, a power cord, a 3.5mm auxiliary cable, and two AAA batteries.

Satellite Speakers: These can be placed vertically or horizontally using the included satellite stands. Connect the right satellite speaker to the blue jack on the subwoofer and the left satellite speaker to the gray jack.

Subwoofer: This unit houses the main audio components and connections.

Wireless Control Dial: This dial is used for adjusting volume, bass, and controlling media playback. It requires two AAA batteries.

Connections: The system can be connected via Bluetooth®, a 3.5mm auxiliary cable, or a USB cable.

Connecting the Speakers

Place the satellite stands to each satellite separately. Lay the speakers vertically or horizontally as per your preference. Make sure that the stands fit tightly in the speakers.

Connecting the Wireless Control Dial

Open the back lid of the control dial by long pressing and pushing downwards. Place two AAA batteries into the corresponding space. Do not mix battery types or ages. Do not leave batteries unused in the product for extended periods.

The LED indicator on the dial will start blinking blue. Once the wireless control dial is successfully connected to the speaker, the LED will turn into a steady blue light.

Connecting to Audio Source

The LED on the control dial changes color to indicate the type of connection:

Connecting via Bluetooth®

Ensure Bluetooth® is activated on your source device.

Connecting via 3.5mm Cable

Connect one end of the provided 3.5mm cable to the auxiliary input on the back of the subwoofer. Then connect the other end of the cable to the 3.5mm audio jack on your device. To play through 3.5mm connectivity, press the wired input button on the back of the dial. The LED light will turn purple.

Connecting via USB Cable

Connect one end of the USB cable to the micro USB input on the back of the subwoofer. Then connect the other end of the cable to the USB-A input on your device. To play through USB connectivity, press the wired input button on the back of the dial. The LED light will turn white. (Note: USB cable is not included and must be purchased separately).

Connecting Three Devices Simultaneously

Connect up to three devices at the same time through the micro USB input, 3.5mm input, and Bluetooth®. You can pair up to eight Bluetooth® source devices with your speakers.

Switching Between Different Audio Sources

Switching Between Two Wired Connectivity: To switch between 3.5mm and USB connections, press the wired input button on the bottom of the dial. The LED color will change accordingly.

Switching Between Wired and Wireless Connectivity: To switch from wired to wireless (Bluetooth®), press the Bluetooth® button. To switch from wireless to wired, press the wired input button.

Control Your Audio Content

Adjust the Volume: Rotate the wireless dial clockwise (counterclockwise) to increase (decrease) the volume. A notification tone sounds at maximum volume.

Adjust the Bass: Long press the dial for 2 seconds to enter bass mode. Rotate the dial clockwise (counterclockwise) to increase (decrease) bass volume. Long press for 2 seconds to exit bass mode. The system will automatically return to volume mode after 15 seconds of inactivity. Notification tones sound at maximum and minimum bass levels.

Play/Pause (Mute/Unmute): Press the dial once to play/pause your audio content. This function is active when connected via Bluetooth® or 3.5mm input.

Skip: Press the dial twice to skip the current track. This function is active when connected via Bluetooth® or USB input.

Rewind: Triple press the dial to replay the soundtrack. This function is active when connected via Bluetooth® or USB input.

Reset All Settings

Long press the Bluetooth® button and the wired input button simultaneously for 8 seconds to reset the system. The LED will blink rapidly twice, followed by a reset tone. The LED will then turn solid blue upon successful reset.
