TO AVOID DAMAGE TO OVEN OR FLOOR
- Do not remove the side door spacers until the oven is ready to install. Removing the door spacers could allow the door to shift, damaging the door latch. Door spacers are provided on some models.
- Do not remove oven from bottom base pad until oven is ready to install. Setting oven directly on the floor can cause damage to the floor.
- Do not lift or move oven by door handle(s) or control panel.
- Prior to installing the oven, you will need to remove the oven door(s). Prepare a surface where you will place the door(s). This surface should be flat and covered with a soft blanket, or use the corner post from the packaging material.
To remove the oven door:
Step 1: Fully open the oven door.
Visual cues: Door Hinges, [Locked position].
Step 2: Rotate door hinges from locked to unlocked position.
Visual cues: [Pull here to unlock hinge] to move from [Locked position] to [Unlocked position].
NOTE: This instruction covers different models and your hinge may vary slightly from the one illustrated.
Step 3: Repeat previous step for door hinge on opposite side.
Step 4: Gently start to close the door. The door will stop at a partially closed position.
Step 5: Using two hands, grasp the edges of the oven door. Close the oven door slightly past the stop position to take the weight off of the door hinges and then pull the oven door up.
Step 6: Pull the oven door toward you and then remove. You may need to gently shift door from side to side as you pull.
To replace the oven door:
Step 1: Using two hands, grasp the edges of the oven door. Insert the hinges at the same time and push the oven door into the oven cavity slot to replace. You may need to gently shift door from side to side as you push.
Visual cues: [Unlocked position], [Locked position].
Step 2: Make sure the door hinge notch is engaged on the bottom of the oven cavity slot.
IMPORTANT: Do not close door at this step or damage may occur to the door hinges.
Step 3: Fully open the oven door.
Step 4: Move door hinges from unlocked to locked position.
NOTE: This instruction covers different models and your hinge may vary slightly from the one illustrated.
Step 5: After the door hinges have been locked, gently swing the door upward to close. The door should not be forced closed. Check that the hinges are locked if there is any resistance while closing the door.
