- Click the InstanView App to enable external displays immediately.
Note: The InstantView driver will not store or record any screen content. It is recommended to restart your computer after installation.

Troubleshooting
- Q1. No video output on HDMI 2 and VGA port when using triple display
-
- Please try the following steps: Remove all cables, reboot your laptop, attach the power supply to the USB C PD 3.0 port, and then attach other devices like the monitor.
- HDMI 1 is plug and play. HDMI 2 and VGA require the "InstantView" driver, which is built into the USB stick. This docking station can overcome single display limitations and M1/M2 chip constraints for triple display.
- Ensure Accessibility settings are correctly configured and open the DisplayManager application. You can set the DisplayManager application to run automatically on every login.
- Q2: The extended monitor is flickering
-
- Ensure your connections are proper. Remove all cables, reboot your laptop, attach the power supply to the USB C PD 3.0 port, and then attach other devices like the monitor. If issues persist, contact Tobenone support via support@tobenone.com.
- Use the included USB C cable to connect the docking station to your computer, as third-party cables may cause compatibility issues.
- When extending to multiple monitors, set the maximum refresh rate for HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 to 4K@30Hz, and the maximum resolution for VGA to 1080P@60Hz.
- Q3: Couldn't set vertical mode to the HDMI 2 and VGA monitors
- The driver does not support rotation. Vertical monitors MUST be connected to the HDMI 1 port.
- Q4: This actually seems very invasive, recording the screen 24 hours a day.
- For macOS, the app requires screen recording permission to capture pixels for external monitors. The InstantView driver does not store or record any screen content.
- Q5: Watching streaming entertainment services, the screen blacks out
-
- For macOS, the application requires "screen sharing" which may interfere with media streaming platforms (like Amazon Prime, Netflix, DisneyPlus, HBO Max, Apple TV, etc.). You may need to deactivate extra displays in the InstantView driver control panel to watch streaming services.
- When watching media streaming platforms, disable screen recording in the InstantView Driver Control panel. Note that only HDMI 1 monitors can be used for this purpose, not HDMI 2 and VGA monitors.
- Q6: Why can I only use HDMI 2 and VGA ports, HDMI 1 port does not display
-
- Confirm that the USB C port on your laptop supports data transfer, Power Delivery, and DisplayPort Alt-mode.
- If your laptop's USB C port does not support these features, you can only use HDMI 2 and VGA ports, as HDMI 1 is plug and play.
- If your laptop's USB C port supports these features, remove all cables, reboot your laptop, attach the power supply to the PD port, and then attach other devices like the monitor.
