Safety Precautions
Electrical Safety:
- Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.
- Do not use the appliance with bare feet or wet feet.
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
- Do not pull the power cord or the appliance itself to unplug it from the power outlet.
- If the socket and the appliance plug are incompatible, have the socket replaced with a suitable type by qualified personnel.
- The use of adapters, multi-sockets, or extension cords is not recommended.
- To refill or add water, switch off the ironing system using the switch and unplug the power cord. Never place the appliance under a tap to add water.
- The power cord plug must be removed from the socket before refilling the water tank.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its technical assistance service to prevent any risk.
- Before performing any cleaning or maintenance operations, disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply by unplugging it.
- In case of malfunction or poor operation, switch off the appliance, do not tamper with it, and take it to an authorized service center.
- Before use, verify that the mains voltage corresponds to that indicated on the appliance's rating plate. Connect the appliance only to a system and sockets with a minimum capacity of 10 A and equipped with effective earthing.
General Safety:
- It is not recommended to continue ironing with the "water shortage" light on, as this could cause long-term damage to internal components.
- Do not direct steam towards people or animals.
- The user must not leave the iron unattended when it is connected to the power supply.
- The boiler must not be moved during operation.
- The hose connecting the iron to the boiler can become hot.
- Absolutely avoid contact between the iron's plate and electrical cords.
- After removing packaging, check the appliance's integrity. If in doubt, do not use it and consult qualified personnel.
- Dispose of plastic bags as they are a hazard to children.
- The appliance should not be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or with insufficient experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised and instructed by a person responsible for their safety. Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- Never mix the tank water with stain removers, additives, or scented essences, as this will compromise safety and irreparably damage the boiler.
- "Safe Transport" Mode: Some models have a system to lock the iron in position during transport. When the iron is locked, it cannot be used as a handle for transporting the appliance. To correctly position the iron, insert the tip of the plate into the housing, place the iron in position, and then move the slider to the locked position.
- To release the iron, move the slider to the unlocked position and remove the iron from its housing. During ironing, the iron can be placed tip-down on the special heat-resistant base located above the housing.
- The appliance must be used and left to rest on a stable surface resistant to high temperatures. Ensure the surface where the appliance is placed is stable. Never place the iron in a vertical position!
- The appliance must not be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage, or if it leaks. In case of the ironing system falling and causing visible damage to the appliance (boiler or iron), do not reuse it and take it to a qualified service center.
Intended Use
This appliance is intended solely for its designed purpose. Any other use is considered improper and therefore dangerous. The manufacturer is not liable for any damages resulting from improper, erroneous, or unreasonable use, or from repairs carried out by unqualified personnel.
Water Usage
This steam ironing system is equipped with a resin-based anti-limescale filter installed in the tank, allowing the use of normal tap water. The resins reduce water hardness and prolong the appliance's life.
- Do not use chemical substances or detergents (e.g., perfumed waters, essences, descaling solutions, etc.).
- Do not use mineral water or other types of water (e.g., rainwater, battery water, air conditioner water, etc.).
Attention: If using filtering devices, ensure the obtained water has a neutral pH.
First Use:
If the "water shortage" light comes on after filling, press the “OK” button to confirm the tank refill. If the light comes on again, refill and confirm again by pressing the “OK” button.

Troubleshooting
Problem | Cause | Remedy |
---|---|---|
The appliance does not turn on. | The appliance is not connected to the electrical network. | Check that the appliance is correctly connected and press the iron and boiler ignition buttons. |
Steam escapes from behind the tank. | The maximum pressure safety system has intervened. | Immediately switch off the appliance and contact an authorized technical service center. |
Water leaks from the iron plate holes. | Water has condensed inside the tubes because steam is being released for the first time or the appliance has not been used for some time. | Press the steam release button several times away from the ironing board; this will allow the cold water to be eliminated from the steam circuit. |
Brown stains on the iron plate. | The ironing system has been positioned on an unstable or inclined surface. | Place the ironing system on a stable and flat surface. |
Upon first use of the appliance, smoke is noticed. | Chemical anti-limescale products or additives have been poured into the water tank or boiler. | Never pour products into the water tank (see section "What water to use?"). Clean the plate with a damp cloth. |
The appliance emits an intermittent noise associated with vibrations. | Some parts are treated with sealants/lubricants that evaporate during the first heating. | This is normal; this phenomenon will disappear after a few uses. |
The appliance emits a continuous noise associated with vibrations. | This is the water being pumped into the boiler. | This is a completely normal phenomenon. |
After refilling the water level, the light does not reset. | Continuous steam is engaged. | Unlock the slider O and press the OK button. |
After regenerating/replacing the filter, the light does not reset. | The filter has been removed for maintenance/replacement. | Repeat the refill process as for the first use. Press the OK button and hold it for a few seconds. |
