- Intended Use: This charger is designed solely for charging batteries that match its technical specifications. Do not use it for any other purpose.
- Manufacturer Guidelines: Always adhere to the operating instructions and safety guidelines provided by the battery manufacturer.
- Battery Types: Never attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not charge frozen or damaged batteries.
- Charger Placement: Do not place or cover the charger on the battery while charging. Ensure adequate ventilation for fan-cooled products, preventing dust intake.
- Cable Safety: Do not use chargers with damaged cables. Ensure cables are protected from hot surfaces, sharp edges, and other damage. Use only CTEK-approved original cables for replacements or extensions (max 3.0m). Cable extensions may cause electromagnetic interference.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure mains connection complies with local electrical installation regulations. Connect to an earthed socket if the charger requires it.
- Explosive Gases: Lead-acid batteries can emit explosive gases during charging. Prevent sparks near the battery and ensure good ventilation.
- Environmental Protection: Chargers with a protection class below IPX4 are for indoor use only. Protect the charger from rain and snow.
- Connection/Disconnection Order:
- To Connect: Connect the charger to the battery's positive (+) terminal first, then the negative (-) terminal. Finally, connect the charger to the mains power supply (?).
- To Disconnect: Disconnect the charger from the mains power supply first. Then, disconnect the battery's negative (-) terminal (or chassis ground), followed by the positive (+) terminal.
- Supervision: Do not leave batteries unattended for extended periods during charging. Manually disconnect the charger if any errors occur.

- This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or have received instruction regarding the use of the device by a person responsible for their safety.

- Children aged 8 years and older, and persons with reduced capabilities, may use the device if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- The device is not a toy. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
