Thank you for purchasing our GPS tracker. This Quick User shows how to operate the device smoothly and correctly.

SIM Card Installation

1. Choose a Normal SIM card, without a PIN code.
2. Open the top cover of the tracker by screw.
3. Properly insert the GSM card. The tracker will start and connect to external power supply.
4. Place the device outside for about 30 seconds. LED lights will keep lighting on, indicating the device can work normally.
5. Dial the device number. It will hang up and reply with a tracking message containing valid Longitude and Latitude.

Setting the APN:

Send SMS to the tracker to set the APN (the yellow place is BLANK):

SMS: 8030000 APN

(APN is the Access Point Name of your SIM Card. Please check with your SIM Card provider if you don't know it.)

If the APN requires a User name and Password, please send the command:

SMS: 8030000 APN APNuser APNpassword

Setting the Server:

Send SMS to set the tracker's server:

SMS: 8040000 45.112.204.245 8090

Online Tracking Verification:

If all settings are correct, you can track it online.

If the device is not online, please check the device settings. Send RCONF to the device; it will reply with the settings:

1. The APN is correct.
2. The IP and Port are correct.
3. The ID on the platform is correct.
4. The device working model (SMS model or GPRS model).

1.1. Blue LED --- GPS Status

1.2. Orange LED --- GSM Status

1.3. Red LED --- GSM Status

The default password is: 0000

The default mode is normal working (ACC Mode).

GPS Status: 'A' means the device has obtained location; 'V' means the location is invalid.

Alarm mode is on. Alarm will send to the 3 control numbers.

Battery status: 5 is 100%, 1 is 20%. The battery level ranges from 1 to 5.

1. Device Placement

The GPS antenna side should face the clear sky. It cannot be placed under metal, but it is acceptable under glass or plastic.

2. Wire Connections

Connect the wires as follows:

• Red wire: Connect to the vehicle's 12V/24V power supply (with a 2A fuse).
• Black wire: Connect to the ground.
• Orange wire: Connect to ACC (Accessory power).
• Yellow wire (optional): For relay control. Its connection is not mandatory.

1. Set Control Number:

Command: Number+pass+blank+serial

Sample: 139504434650000 1

Explanation: 13950443465 is the mobile number, 0000 is the password, and 1 indicates the first control number.

When the tracker replies "SET OK", the setting is successful. You can set the second and third control numbers similarly by using 2 or 3 as the serial number.

2. Working Mode:

The ST-900 supports both SMS and GPRS working modes.

• SMS Mode: Use this mode if you want to control the tracker via mobile phone using only SMS messages. You will receive Google location links.
• GPRS Mode (Default): Use this mode for real-time online monitoring and for storing tracker data over extended periods.

To switch modes via SMS:

• SMS Mode: Command: 700+Password (Sample: 7000000). Reply: SET OK.
• GPRS Mode: Command: 710+Password (Sample: 7100000). Reply: SET OK.

3. Change Password:

Command: 777+New Password+Old password

Sample: 77712340000 (New password: 1234, Old password: 0000)

Reply: SET OK

4. Get Location with Google Link:

Command: 669+password

Sample: 6690000

The tracker will send back the location with a Google link. You can open the link to check the tracker's location on maps.

5. Get Location by Phone Call:

Call the SIM card number in the tracker. It will reply with the location via a Google link. You can open the link to check the tracker's location on maps.

If the tracker cannot determine the location during a call, it will send the last known valid location. Once a new location is determined, a second SMS with the coordinates will be sent.

6. Change Time Zone:

Command: 896+password+E/W+HH

Sample: 8960000E00 (Default: 0 time zone)

Explanation: E means East, W means West, HH is the time zone offset (00 to 23).

Example for Russia (Novosibirsk, +7): 8960000E07

Reply: SET OK

7. Send Location at a Defined Time Daily:

The location report will be sent to the first control number.

Command: 665+password+HHMM (HH: hour 00-23, MM: minute 00-59)

Sample: 66500001219

Reply: SET OK

To disable this function, use command: 665+password+OFF

Sample: 6650000OFF

Reply: SET OK

8. Geo Fence:

(Alarms are sent to the first control number only)

• Open Geo Fence: Command: 211+password (Sample: 2110000). Reply: SET OK.
• Close Geo Fence: Command: 210+password (Sample: 2100000). Reply: SET OK.
• Set Geo Fence Radius: Command: 005+password+radius (Sample: 0050000 1000 for 1000 meters). Reply: SET OK.

It is recommended to set the Geo Fence radius to 1000 meters or more.

9. Over Speed Alarm:

(Alarms are sent to the specified control numbers)

Command: 122+password+XXX

Sample: 1220000 120

XXX is the speed limit in KM/H (0-999). Setting XXX to 0 disables the over speed alarm.

Reply: SET OK

10. Mileage (Odometer):

• Set Initial Mileage: Command: 142+password<+M+X> where X is the initial mileage in meters.
• Sample 1: 1420000. Reply: MILEAGE RESET OK.
• Sample 2: 1420000M1000. Reply: SET OK, CURRENT: 1000.
• Get Current Mileage: Command: 143+password (Sample: 1430000). Reply: CURRENT TOTAL MILEAGE:XX. (XX is the mileage in meters).

11. Shock/Shake Alarm:

(SMS alarm is sent to the first phone number)

• Enable Sensor: Command: 181+password+T (Sample: 1810000T10). Reply: SET OK. T is the shaking time in seconds (0-120 seconds).
• Disable Sensor: Command: 180+password (Sample: 1800000). Reply: SET OK.

12. Low Battery Alarm:

(A message is sent to the first phone number when the battery is low)

Battery Status: Bat:5 (100%), Bat:4 (80%), Bat:3 (60%), Bat:2 (40%), Bat:1 (20%). A low battery alert is sent when the level reaches Bat:1.

13. Call Mode:

• Enable Call Mode: Command: 150+password (Sample: 1500000). Reply: SET OK. When enabled, alarms are sent via SMS and a call is made to the first configured number.
• Disable Call Mode: Command: 151+password (Sample: 1510000). Reply: SET OK. When disabled, only SMS alerts are sent.

14. Engine Cut-off (Remote Immobilizer) (ST-901M only):

• Enable Immobilizer: Command: 940+password (Sample: 9400000). Reply: SET OK. The engine will be immobilized after receiving the command.
• Disable Immobilizer: Command: 941+password (Sample: 9410000). Reply: SET OK. The engine will be re-enabled after receiving the command.

Note: The relay is optional and its connection is not required.

15. Set APN:

Command 1: 803+password+APN (Sample: 8030000 CMNET). Reply: SET OK.

If APN requires username and password:

Command 2: 803+password+APN+username+password (Sample: 8030000 CMNET CMNET CMNET). Reply: SET OK.

Example for MTS SIM card:

APN: internet.mts.ru

Username: mts

Password: mts

Sample: 8030000 internet.mts.ru mts mts

16. Set IP Port:

If you plan to use the server sinotrackpro.com, no changes are needed. Modify only if you have your own server for tracker management.

Command: 804+password+IP+Port (Sample: 8040000 45.112.204.245 8090). Reply: SET OK.

17. Set Time Intervals:

• ACC ON Time Interval (Default 20 seconds): Command: 805+password+T (Sample: 8050000 20). Reply: SET OK. T is the time interval in seconds (10 to 18000). T=0 disables GPRS.
• ACC OFF Time Interval (Default 180 seconds): Command: 809+password+T (Sample: 8090000 180). Reply: SET OK. T is the time interval in seconds (10 to 18000). T=0 disables GPRS.

The minimum time interval is 10 seconds.

1. RESTART:

The tracker will restart.

2. RCONF (Read Tracker Configuration):

The tracker will reply with its current configuration, including:

• Device Model, ID, Password, Control Numbers (U1, U2, U3)
• Working Mode (GPRS/SMS)
• Status of Daily Report, Geo Fence, Over Speed, Voice Call, Shake Alarm, Sleep Mode
• APN, IP Address, Port, GPRS Upload Time, Time Zone

LED Status Indicators (Russian):

Default Password: 0000

Default Working Mode: ACC Mode

GPS Status: A – Location obtained, V – Invalid location.

Alarm mode is active. Alarm signals will be sent to 3 configured phone numbers.

Battery Charge: 1 (20%) to 5 (100%). A low battery alert is sent at level 1.
