PREFACE

Thank you for purchasing a SinoTrack GPS tracker. This manual details how to operate the device smoothly. Please read this manual carefully before using the device. Any updates to the manual are made without prior notice and will be released with the latest product sales. The manufacturer does not assume any legal responsibility for errors or omissions made in this manual.

1 SUMMARY

Working based on existing GSM/GPRS networks and GPS satellites, this product can locate and monitor remote targets via SMS, APP, and the Internet. It adopts the most advanced technology of GPS and AGPS dual positioning.

2. Hardware Description

The SinoTrack GPS tracker is a compact black device. On its front, it features a small display area and a circular button with a paw print icon. The side of the device includes various ports and slots.

Key components of the device include:

1. Speaker: For audio output.
2. Indicator Light: Provides status feedback.
3. SOS Button: For emergency alerts.
4. MIC: Microphone for audio input.
5. SIM Card Slot: To insert the GSM SIM card.
6. USB Charger Slot: For charging the device.

INDICATOR LIGHT STATUS

GSM SIM CARD INSTALLATION GUIDE:

Only GSM SIM card works in this model. If a 3G or 4G card is used, confirm it has GSM function. Ensure the SIM Card is without a PIN Code.

The device supports different SIM card sizes: ST-904 uses a Normal SIM, ST-903 uses a Micro SIM, and a Nano SIM is also shown as compatible, likely with an adapter.

3. TURN ON THE DEVICE

• Open the rubber cover; insert the SIM card (chip up) into the slot.
• The indicator light turns on when the SIM card is inserted.
• The device obtains GPS location when there is a GPS signal and LBS location when there is no GPS signal.
• The device automatically turns off when the SIM card is removed.

4.SMS TRACKING

Note: A blank space is required in SMS commands where indicated.

4.1. Call the SIM card phone number in tracker

Calling the SIM card phone number in the tracker will result in a Google Maps link of the position. Alternatively, send the message "6690000" to the SIM card phone number in the tracker. For example, a reply might show: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=+22.64212,+114.18814 Date: 2017-12-6 Time:1:45 ID: 6170999999 Fix:V Speed:0.0KM/H Bat:80%.

4.2. Admin number setting

After setting an admin number, all SMS operations to the device are restricted to this number only.

Command: phone number+password 1 (This phone number is your own mobile phone number, not the SIM card number in the tracker.)
Reply: SET OK!
Example: 132657901800000 1

Voice Monitor:

Send command 66 to the GPS Tracker from the control number. The tracker will call back to this control number. Alternatively, the admin number can call the tracker to monitor.

When the unit triggers an over-speed alarm, shake sensor alarm, or low battery alarm, it will send an alert to the admin number (e.g., 13265790180).

Admin number Canceling:
Command: D101#
Reply: SET OK!

4.3. Over-speed Alarm setting

Command: 1220000070 (Suppose speed is 70km/h)
Reply: SET OK!

When the unit speed exceeds 70km/h, it will send a "speed alarm!" message to the admin number every 5 minutes.

Over-speed Alarm canceling:
Command: 12200000
Reply: SET OK!

4.4. Shake Alarm setting

Command: 1810000T10
Message Reply: SET OK!

Note: Keep the tracker stationary for 5 minutes for this function to work. The tracker will send an SMS "Shock alarm!" to the admin number when the unit is shocked.

Shake alarm Canceling:
Command: 1810000T0
Reply: SET OK!

4.5. SOS Alarm (For ST-904 Only)

If the SOS button is pressed, the device will send an SMS with the location and call the admin number. An example message might include a Google Maps link and details like: Date:2018-4-14 Time:9:26 ID: 6170970487 STATE:SOS Fix:A Speed:0KM/H Bat:5.

4.6. Device working mode setting

1. WORK-Keep working mode: (can work 30 hours)
   Command: WORK0000
   Reply: SET OK!
   (The tracker will keep working and send data by time interval)
2. MOVE-Work when the tracker is moving: (can work 3 to 7 days)
   Command: MOVE0000
   Reply: SET OK!
   (Factory setting is "MOVE" mode)
   (Tracker only works when it is moving. When it is stopped, it will sleep, GPS shut off, GSM works in low consumption mode. Vibration, SMS command, calling tracker can wake up the tracker to work for 5 minutes.)
3. STANDBY-SMS or Call to tracker, it will work 5 minutes. (can standby 12 days)
   Command: STANDBY0000
   Reply: SET OK!
   (Standby mode, GPS shut off, GSM works in low consumption. SMS, calling can wake up the tracker to work for 5 minutes.)

4.7 Terminal (local) Time Setting (factory setting GMT 0)

Command: 8960000E00
Reply: SET OK!

Examples: 8960000E01, 8960000W01, 8960000E00

4.8 Reset Hardware

Command: RESET
Reply: SET OK!

4.9 Read the Configure data

Command: RCONF
Reply: The ID, work mode, IP and Port, APN of tracker.

5. EXPLANATION OF PARAMETERS/CODES IN SMS MESSAGE

This is the setting of the tracker:

• ST-904(ST-903): The model of the tracker.
• ID:9170913138: The ID of the GPS Tracker.
• UP:0000: The password of SMS.
• U1:,U2:,U3:: The control number.
• MODE: GPRS-MOVE: GPS work mode.
• DAILY:OFF,GEO FENCE:OFF,OVER SPEED:OFF, VOICE:ON, SHAKE ALARM:OFF,SLEEP:ON: Status of the tracker.
• APN: internet: APN of the SIM Card.
• IP:45.112.204.245:8090: The IP and Port of the tracker.
• GPRS UPLOAD TIME:20: The GPS time interval.
• TIME ZONE:0.0: Time zone of the tracker.

6. START ONLINE TRACKING

Every SIM card carrier has its own APN content. There are two methods to find out APN content: check with the SIM card carrier online or insert the SIM card into a cell phone to find out the APN.

SMS: 8030000 APN
(APN is the Access Point Name of your SIM Card. Please check with your SIM Card provider if you do not know it.)

Example for MTN SIM card in South Africa:
APN name: internet
APN username:
APN password:
Send SMS to set APN: 8030000 internet

If the APN requires a User name and Password, send the command:
SMS: 8030000 APN APNuser APNpassword

Example for Tesco Mobile SIM card in UK:
APN name: prepay.tesco-mobile.com

6.1 WEBSITE TRACKING

WEBSITE Tracking (PC Version):

The SinoTrack tracking platform is accessible via www.sinotrackpro.com. The login interface typically shows fields for User (ID of Tracker), Password, and Language (English). There are options to 'Save password', 'Demo', and 'Login'.

6.2 APPLICATIONS FOR ANDROID/IOS

Users can search for "SinoTrack PRO" on the APP Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). The app icon is typically a stylized 'Sin' logo with 'SinoTrack PRO' and 'SinoTrack Tools' text. The app details show it's from 'Wenjie Shi' and has a rating, for example, 4+ stars.

The app login screen allows choosing a server (e.g., SinoTrackPro), entering a User ID number, and a Password. There are buttons for 'Visit' and 'Login'.

If a user has multiple SinoTrack GPS trackers and wishes to manage them under one account, they should contact SinoTrack for account creation to monitor multiple devices simultaneously on the platform.

7. Notices:

1. GPS tracking functions best outdoors.
2. Ensure the GSM SIM card supports making calls, sending messages, and GPRS network.
3. Ensure the GSM SIM card has sufficient balance.
4. Ensure the GSM card has enabled call display and disabled call transfer.
5. Insert the GSM phone card correctly.
6. Do not assemble or disassemble the device without authorization.
