Charging the Device

  2. On your smart device (phone, tablet), enable Bluetooth ? and search for "J49". Select it to connect.

Pairing with a Second Bluetooth Device

  1. After successfully pairing with the first device, turn off Bluetooth on that device.
  2. On the second smartphone/tablet, enable Bluetooth ?, search for "J49", and connect.
  3. Re-enable Bluetooth ? on the first device. It should automatically reconnect to the receiver.
  4. The receiver can typically connect to two devices simultaneously.

Troubleshooting

Q1: Cannot pair or use the device.

  • A1:
    • Ensure the receiver is powered on.
    • Ensure the receiver is in pairing mode (indicator light flashing [red and blue alternately]).
    • Verify your phone/MP3/tablet has Bluetooth ? enabled and is playing music.
    • Ensure the distance between the receiver and your device is within 10 meters (33 feet).
