Important Safety Instructions
⚠️ For indoor use only.
Regularly check the cord, the transformer, and all other parts for damage. If any part is damaged, the product should not be used.
ℹ️ Important information! Keep these instructions for future use.
Different materials require different types of fittings. Always choose screws and plugs that are specially suited to the material.
The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life, the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
⚠️ ONLY USE A SAFETY TRANSFORMER WITH A SELV OUTPUT AS A SUPPLY FOR THE PRODUCT.
Use only IKEA LED drivers suited for this product. The total wattage of the lamps connected to one LED driver must not exceed the maximum power stated on that LED driver and never more than 30W.
⚠️ WARNING – Strangulation hazard.
NEVER place cord within reach of a child in a cot or playpen. ALWAYS secure cord to wall or cabinet. Check regularly that the cord is securely fastened. Pull the cord to remove any slack between fasteners. Tie up any remaining slack cord between driver and socket.
Assembly Instructions
This section describes how to install the ÖVERSIDAN LED wardrobe light.
Tools Required:
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Flathead screwdriver
- Drill with 8 mm (5/16") drill bit
Components:
The package typically includes:
- LED light strip
- LED driver
- Power supply cord
- Mounting brackets (Type A and Type B)
- Screws and fasteners
- Adhesive mounting strip (optional, depending on model)
Installation Steps:
- Prepare the Installation Area: Ensure the cabinet or wardrobe is ready for installation. Identify the mounting location, usually the top interior panel of the cabinet.
- Attach Mounting Brackets:
Using the provided screws, attach the Type A mounting brackets to the designated positions on the cabinet's top panel. Typically, two Type A brackets are used.
Attach the Type B mounting brackets to the designated positions on the cabinet's top panel. Typically, one or two Type B brackets are used, depending on the configuration.

- Install the LED Light Strip:
Carefully align the ÖVERSIDAN LED light strip with the mounted brackets.
Slide the light strip into the brackets until it clicks securely into place. You should hear a "Click!" sound indicating it is properly seated.

- Secure the Light Strip:
Use the provided clips or fasteners to further secure the light strip in place, ensuring it is stable.

- Route and Secure the Power Cord:
Route the power cord from the light strip along the inside of the cabinet. Use the provided cable clips or fasteners to secure the cord neatly to the cabinet wall or top panel.
⚠️ Safety Reminder: Ensure the cord is routed away from any moving parts and is not within reach of children. Follow the warnings regarding strangulation hazards.

- Connect the LED Driver and Power Supply:
Connect the cable from the LED light strip to the LED driver.
Connect the power supply cord to the LED driver.
Plug the power supply cord into a suitable wall outlet.

- Test the Light:
The light has different modes, typically ON and AUTO. The AUTO mode usually activates when a door is opened, turning the light on.
Test the light by opening and closing the cabinet door.

- Final Installation:
Close the cabinet door to ensure the sensor (if applicable) functions correctly and the light turns off when the door is closed.
