Safety Instructions

• Keep the unit away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
• Do not use the unit if it has been dropped or damaged in any way.
• Repairs to electrical equipment should only be performed by a qualified electrician. Improper repairs may place the user at serious risk.
• Do not put objects into any of the openings.
• Keep the unit free from dust, lint, etc.
• Do not use this unit for anything other than its intended use.
• Keep the unit out of reach of children. This speaker is not a toy.

Instructions for Use

Charging the Speaker

1. Connect the USB charging cord to the DC 5V charging port of the speaker and insert the other end into a port on your computer or similar power source.
2. The Red LED turns on indicating that the battery is being charged. Once fully charged, the Red LED will turn off.
3. For best results, fully charge the speaker before use.

Operating the Speaker

• Press and hold the Power/Mode button for 2 seconds to turn on the speaker. It will be in Bluetooth mode.
• Press and hold the Power/Mode button for 2 seconds again to switch to FM radio mode.
• Press and hold the Power/Mode button for 2 seconds again to switch to Line in Mode.
• Press and hold the Power/Mode button for 5 seconds to turn off the speaker.

Pairing the Speaker with your Bluetooth Device

Your Bluetooth Speaker can stream wireless audio from any Bluetooth enabled device within the range of 8-10 Meters. Follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds to turn on the speaker. It's in Bluetooth mode.
2. You will hear an indication tone.
3. Turn on Bluetooth on your Mobile Phone, Tablet, or Computer.
4. It will search for available Bluetooth devices.
5. The Bluetooth Speaker will appear as "Sylvania SP681" in the list of searched devices. Select it.
6. If required, enter the password '0000' to confirm pairing.
7. Once paired successfully, another indication tone will be heard.
8. If pairing fails within a few seconds or you want to pair with a new device, repeat the above steps.

Play your favorite song on the Bluetooth source device, and music will stream through the speaker with LED indicator lights.

Listening to Wireless Music

Ensure your device (iPhone, Tablet, or other Smart Phone) is paired with the speaker to stream wireless music. Once paired, play music from your device.

FM Radio

When in FM radio Mode, press the Power/Mode button three times quickly to search and save preset stations. Press the Power/Mode button once to switch to the next station.

During FM mode, if the sensitivity is not good, you can plug in a USB cable to act as an antenna.

When Play LINE IN:

When in Line in mode, connect one end of the 3.5mm Line in cable into the Line in jack, and the other end to your MP3 player or smartphone to play music.

MIC Hands-free Function

When in Bluetooth Mode, short press the Power/Mode button to answer a phone call. Double press the Power/Mode button to redial the last phone call.

Do's and Don'ts

• Do not play music at excessive levels, as damage to hearing and/or equipment may result.
• Do not use outdoors in wet or damp surroundings.

90-day Warranty

This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of original purchase. During this period, your exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of this product or component found to be defective, at our option. However, you are responsible for all costs associated with returning the product to us. If the product or component is no longer available, Sylvania will replace it with a similar one of equal or greater value. Prior to a replacement being sent, the product must be rendered inoperable or returned to us.

This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse. This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser or gift recipient. Keep the original sales receipt as proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim. This warranty is void if the product is used for other than single-family household use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other than as on the specified rating on the label (e.g., 120V~60Hz).
