Product Overview and Controls
Power/Volume Dial: Twist clockwise/anticlockwise to power on/off and adjust volume.
Charging Indicator: Red light indicates charging; light off indicates fully charged.
DC Interface (5V): For charging the unit.
MODE/LED ON Button: Long press to turn the lights on/off. Short press to cycle through modes: Bluetooth, FM Radio, AUX Input, USB, TF.
Previous Track/TWS Button: Press to go to the previous track. Long press for TWS pairing.
Play/Pause/REC Button: Press to play/pause music. Long press for recording (in Bluetooth mode).
Next Track Button: Press to go to the next track.
TF/USB Input: Insert TF card or USB drive for playback.
AUX Input: Connect external audio devices via an audio cable.
MIC Input: Connect a microphone.
Charging the Battery
- Charge the unit for at least 4 hours before first use.
- Connect the USB charging cable to the DC 5V interface.
- The charging indicator will be red while charging and turn off when fully charged.
- The speaker can be used while charging.
- Disconnect the USB cable after charging is complete.
Operating Instructions
Bluetooth Mode
- Press the MODE/LED ON button to select Bluetooth mode.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your device (phone, tablet, etc.) and select "Syl SP782".
- The unit and device will connect automatically (no pairing code needed).
- Use the control panel buttons (Next Song, Previous Song, Play/Pause) to manage playback.
TWS (True Wireless Speaker) Function
To use TWS, you need two SP782 speakers.
- Ensure both speakers are turned on and in Bluetooth mode.
- On one speaker, press and hold the TWS button (or Play/Pause button for 3 seconds as per some interpretations) until you hear a confirmation tone and the display indicates TWS is on.
- The speakers will pair with each other.
- Connect your Bluetooth device to one of the speakers by searching for "Syl SP782".
- Music will now play through both speakers.
- To turn off TWS, press and hold the TWS button again until it indicates 't off'.
FM Radio Function
- Press the MODE/LED ON button to select FM mode.
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to automatically scan and save radio stations.
- Use the PREVIOUS or NEXT buttons to switch between saved stations.
AUX Input
- Connect an audio cable from your external device (MP3 player, etc.) to the AUX IN JACK.
- Press the MODE/LED ON button to select AUX mode.
- Play music from your external device.
USB/TF Card Playback
- Insert a USB drive or TF card into the respective port.
- The speaker will automatically play music from the inserted media.
- Use the playback control buttons to navigate tracks.
Microphone Input
Plug a microphone directly into the MIC IN JACK for use.
USB Recording Function
Note: Recording only works in Bluetooth mode and records to the USB drive if both TF card and USB are inserted.
- Ensure the speaker is on and connected via Bluetooth.
- Insert a USB drive.
- Long press the REC button (or Play/Pause button for 3 seconds) to start recording. You will hear a "ding" prompt.
- Long press the REC button (or Play/Pause button for 3 seconds) again to stop recording. You will hear a "ding ding" prompt.
- To play the recording, switch to USB mode and use the next button to find the recorded file.
- For best recording quality, set the Bluetooth device volume to maximum.
- Pressing the MODE button during recording will stop it.
Do's and Don'ts
- Do not play music at excessive levels to prevent hearing damage or equipment damage.
- Do not use the speaker outdoors in wet or damp conditions.
