Introduction
This document provides essential information for the GEEKOM Mini PC XT Series, specifically the XT12 Pro and XT13 Pro models. It guides users through the setup, installation of internal components, mounting options, and basic operation.
Ports and Connectivity
The GEEKOM Mini PC XT Series offers a range of ports for versatile connectivity:
Front Panel:
- USB 3.2 Gen2 Ports (some with Power Delivery - PD)
- 3.5mm Speaker/Headset Jack
- Power Button with LED indicator
Rear Panel:
- USB 3.2 Gen2 Ports (some with Power Delivery - PD)
- HDMI Ports
- 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet Port
- DC Power Input
Installation and Assembly
Follow these steps to install or upgrade components and set up your Mini PC.
Step 1: Accessing the Interior (Top Cover Removal/Reattachment)

Step 2: Installing an M.2 SSD

Step 3: Installing DDR4 RAM

Diagrams illustrate mounting the Mini PC to a monitor using a VESA bracket. This involves attaching the bracket to the monitor and then attaching the PC to the bracket.
Step 5: Connecting Power
Diagram shows the AC power adapter being connected to the PC and plugged into a wall outlet.
Safety and Caution Information
Please observe the following safety guidelines:
- ⚠️ AC Power Adapter: Use only the provided AC adapter. Using unauthorized adapters may cause electric shock, fire, or burns. Operate in dry, indoor environments. Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself; consult a professional. The adapter is designed for 0°C to 35°C (32°F - 95°F). Connect only to properly wired and grounded outlets.
- ⚠️ Battery Replacement: Replacing batteries with incorrect types can cause explosion hazards. Recycle or dispose of used batteries according to local environmental regulations.
- ⚠️ Adapter Usage: Failure to use the included power adapter may violate compliance requirements and pose a safety risk.
- ⚠️ Temperature: This device is designed for ambient temperatures between 0°C and 35°C (32°F - 95°F). Avoid use or storage near heat sources, direct sunlight, or outside the specified temperature range.
- ⚠️ Medical Devices: This device may interfere with pacemakers, hearing aids, or other medical devices. Maintain a minimum distance of 20 cm (8 inches) between the Mini PC and medical devices to reduce interference risk. Consult the medical device's manual for more information.
- ⚠️ Modifications: Unauthorized modifications to wireless solutions, thermal systems, components, or the chassis violate compliance requirements and can create safety hazards.

FCC Caution: Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.

Connect to a Network
To connect to a network:
- Click the network icon ? in the notification area in Windows. A list of available wireless networks will be shown.
- Select the desired network and input the information (if needed).
Note: When connecting to a secured wireless network, enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted.
