2. Safety Instructions

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Ensure mains voltage matches the rating label and the wall outlet is grounded.
  • Regularly inspect the power cord for visible damage. Contact Cecotec Technical Support for repairs to avoid danger.
  • Do not place the device directly below a socket-outlet.
  • Keep away from heat sources, flammable substances, and wet surfaces. Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not insert objects into air inlets or outlets; this may cause electric shock, fire, or damage.
  • If the appliance falls into water, unplug immediately and do not touch it.
  • Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any part in water or other liquids. Ensure hands are dry before handling.
  • Turn off and unplug when not in use or before moving. Pull the plug, not the cord.
  • Not intended for use by children under 8 years. Children aged 8+ can use with continuous supervision.
  • Persons with reduced capabilities can use if supervised or instructed, understanding the risks.
  • Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

3. Before Use

  1. Remove the product from the box and all packaging materials.
  2. Inspect for visible damage. Contact Cecotec Technical Support if damage is found.
  3. Place the heater on a flat, stable surface.
  4. Set the power-level switch to "0" and plug the cord into an earthed power supply.

Safety Systems

Tip-Over Protection

The heater automatically shuts off if tipped forward or backward. It will restart automatically when returned to its upright position. ⚠️

Overheat Protection System

The heater has an overheat protection system that automatically shuts it off in case of overheating (e.g., due to blocked air inlet/outlet). If this occurs:

  1. Unplug the appliance and wait 30 minutes to cool down.
  2. Remove the object obstructing the air inlet or outlet.
  3. Switch it on again. The appliance should operate normally.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Turn off, unplug, and allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.
  • Do not use abrasive scouring pads, powders, or cleaners.
  • Use a soft, damp cloth for the exterior. Be careful not to touch heating elements.
  • Dust and fluff accumulation can cause overheating. Regularly vacuum air vents and grilles.
  • If storing for a long period, keep in a dry, safe place protected from dust.
