Installation Specifications
- Measure the height, width, and depth of the opening, including baseboards, molding, tile, and countertop overhang. Ensure sufficient clearance for door opening, considering walls, islands, or other obstacles.
- Refer to dimension illustrations for specific measurements.
- Allow 2.5 inches of clearance on the hinge side if the refrigerator is installed next to a wall where the handle might make contact.
- Allow 1 inch minimum clearance at the rear for proper air circulation and water/electrical connections. Allow a 3/8 inch minimum clearance at the sides and top for ease of installation.
- Ensure each door and entryway in the home is wide enough for the refrigerator to be moved through easily.
- For optimal usage and to open refrigerator doors completely, avoid installing next to a wall.
