Product Description

First Time Use

Wait at least two hours after installation before connecting the appliance to the power supply. Once connected, it starts automatically. The factory-set ideal storage temperatures are pre-programmed.

After turning the appliance on, allow 4-6 hours for the correct storage temperature to be reached in a normally filled appliance. Position the antibacterial anti-odour filter in the fan as per the filter packaging instructions (if available). If an audible signal sounds, it indicates a temperature alarm; press the button to switch off the acoustic alarms.

Control Panel

The control panel features the following indicators and controls:

The control panel is typically located at the top of the refrigerator compartment.

Key Features

6th Sense Fresh Control and Freeze Control

This feature automatically ensures the appliance quickly reaches and maintains the optimal internal preservation temperature for food.

Fan

The fan improves temperature distribution within the refrigerator compartment, enhancing food preservation. It operates based on temperature and/or humidity levels. If equipped, it may include an antibacterial filter. The fan restarts automatically after a power cut or appliance turn-off. Ensure the air intake area is not obstructed by food items.

Antibacterial Filter

This filter helps maintain hygiene. Remove it from its packaging (often found in the Fruit and Vegetable drawer) and insert it into the fan cover. Replacement instructions are usually included with the filter. * Available only on certain models.

On/Stand-by Function

To put the appliance in standby, press and hold the On/Stand-by button. All indicators turn off except the standby indicator. In standby mode, the internal light does not turn on. Press the button again to reactivate the appliance. Note: this does not disconnect the appliance from the power supply.

Temperature Display

This display shows the refrigerator compartment temperature, typically ranging from +2°C to +8°C. For optimal food preservation and to avoid waste, refer to recommended settings and storage times in the full user manual.

Fridge Compartment Temperature Adjustment

Press the Fridge button to adjust the temperature. The range is typically +2°C to +8°C. The recommended setting for the refrigerator compartment is +4°C.

Fast Cool Function (Fast Cooling)

To quickly cool the refrigerator compartment, or 6 hours before storing a large quantity of food, activate the "Fast Cooling" function. Press the button repeatedly until the relevant icons flash green and then remain constant. The function automatically turns off after a set period (e.g., 30 hours for models with a freezer, 6 hours for models without). To manually turn it off, press the button again. Avoid direct contact between fresh and already frozen food during this mode.

Turning Off the Sound Alarm

Briefly press the designated button (often marked with a bell icon or similar) to turn off any activated sound alarms.

Vacation Mode

This function is ideal for prolonged absences. Press and hold the Vacation button for 3 seconds to engage. The display will show a higher temperature (e.g., +12°C) and the Vacation mode icon will light up. Remove all food from the refrigerator compartment and keep doors closed. The appliance will maintain a temperature suitable for preventing odours. Remember to remove food from the freezer compartment as well. A deep clean before activating this mode is recommended. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds again to deactivate. Changing the setpoint also deactivates Vacation Mode.

How to Store Food and Beverage

The refrigerator is divided into zones for optimal food storage:

Storage Zones Legend

Fresh Box 0°

This drawer is designed to maintain a low temperature (between +3°C and -2°C) to preserve fresh food for longer. Suitable for items like fresh pasta, sour cream, pesto/salsa, homemade preparations, pastry cream, pudding, cream cheese, cold cuts, desserts, meat, and fish. Vacation mode should not be selected for this drawer to function correctly. * Available only on certain models.

Humidity Control

In the Fruit & Vegetable drawer, a selector allows you to adjust the humidity level for optimal preservation of stored produce. Slide the selector to achieve the right balance for the food you store.

Light System

The internal lighting uses LED technology, providing better illumination with very low energy consumption. Different models may feature various configurations of LED lights (e.g., top light, lateral lights), with energy efficiency classes ranging from F to G.

General Information

Drawers, baskets, and shelves should generally be kept in their original positions unless otherwise specified.

Disposal: Before disposing of the appliance, remove doors and lids to prevent children or animals from getting trapped inside.

Removing Drawers

Pull drawers outwards until they stop, then lift them up and remove them. The freezer compartment can be used without drawers to gain more volume. Ensure the door is closed properly after returning food to shelves.
