Replacement Procedure

  1. Turn off the power to the heater.
  2. Remove the 4 screws around the edge of the top lid.
  3. Remove the 4 screws on top of the lid (2 screws on each side of the filter).
  4. Remove the filter from the top center portion of the heater.
  5. Lift lid and turn to the side.
  6. Remove the control panel from the front of the heater and disconnect the sensor from behind the screen (the sensor will be the 2 grey wires in the center plug).
  7. Locate condensate sensor in the black pan in the top of the heater. The sensor is white with a black stripe.
  8. String the sensor through the hole to the right back towards the control board.
  9. To reinstall, reverse above steps.
