Fronius Smart Meter TS 100A-1 Quick Start Guide

This guide provides essential information for the installation and initial setup of the Fronius Smart Meter TS 100A-1.

The Fronius Smart Meter may only be installed and commissioned by trained personnel and only within the scope of the technical regulations. Before working with the device, read and understand all enclosed, printed and online documents! This document does not describe all of the possible system configurations.

Installation Steps

  1. Switch off the circuit breaker [AC-OFF].
  2. Mount the Smart Meter.
  3. Connect the wiring for 1 phase, 2 wires (refer to diagrams 3a and 3b).
  4. Mount the protective cover.
  5. Connect the data cables (e.g., to an inverter or other devices).
  6. Set up the terminating resistor (Steps 6-7).
  7. Mount the connector covers.
  8. Switch on the circuit breaker [AC-ON].
  9. Navigate in the settings: Use page up/down for value selection and adjust/confirm with a 2-second press.
  10. Enter the settings.
  11. Set up the password (default: 2633).
  12. Set up the address (default Modbus Address: 001).
  13. Cut the settings (exit settings).
  14. Start up the Smart Meter. Download the Fronius Solar.start app from the App Store or Google Play for installation assistance.
