Additional Functions and Setting Method

Dual Authentication Function

When configured, the user must consecutively authenticate both password and keytag to open the door, reinforcing the security system. This mode can only be enabled when more than one keytag is registered. Dual authentication is set to Off by default.

Auto Lock Time Setting Function

Auto lock time can be configured and adjusted from 1 to 9 seconds. The default setting is 1 second.

Volume Settings

Configure the volume for system sounds and keypad entry. Open the battery cover on the interior unit to adjust the volume using the control switch. The default setting is [1]. Options include [0] Mute (Alarm excluded) and [2] Max. volume.

To configure or disable additional functions, open the battery cover on the interior unit and press the [Register] button. Then, press the security button [B] on the exterior keypad to enter configuration mode. Refer to the table (not provided in text) to select a function and press the Register button on the interior unit to suspend configuration.

Privacy Mode Function

This function restricts the door from being opened from the outside, suitable for evenings when family members have returned or for personal privacy. The door lock cannot be opened from the outside via any authentication method when this function is enabled. Use with caution if children are indoors.

Anti-Tampering Function

The door lock operator is suspended for 3 minutes after 5 consecutive authentication failures (password or keytag). The door triggers an alarm and its operation is suspended.

Intrusion Detection Function

The door lock triggers an alarm if the door is forcefully opened from the inside or outside while locked. The door opening sensor detects intrusion, triggering the alarm for 5 minutes.

High Temperature Alarm Function

The alarm system activates when the temperature sensor detects an abnormal increase in indoor temperature (approx. 60°C ± 10°C). The LED on the [CLOSIS] button flashes for 15 seconds. The door lock is automatically disabled after the alarm turns off and restores to normal when the indoor temperature drops.

How to Use Security Functions

Randomizer Function

Enter two random digits displayed, followed by your password for authentication, to prevent password leaks. The Randomizer function is set to On by default.

Away Mode Function

The Away mode button [A] is activated when the door is locked after the user leaves. Pressing the away mode button [B] within 3 seconds enables the function. After activation, an alarm is triggered if the door is opened from the inside (external alarm, 2D flashes). Recommended for use only when no one is home.

Privacy Mode Function

This function restricts the door from being opened from the outside. It can be configured when all family members have returned home or to protect personal privacy. The door lock cannot be opened from the outside by any authentication method. Exercise caution if a child is present indoors.

Anti-Tampering Function

If authentication fails 5 consecutive times (password or keytag), the door lock operator is suspended for 3 minutes. The door triggers an alarm and operation is suspended.

Intrusion Detection Function

An alarm is triggered if the door is forcefully opened from either side while locked. The door opening sensor detects the intrusion, activating the alarm for 5 minutes.

High Temperature Alarm Function

The alarm activates when the temperature sensor detects a significant rise in indoor temperature (approx. 60°C ± 10°C). The LED on the [CLOSIS] button flashes for 15 seconds. The door lock is automatically disabled after the alarm ceases and will resume normal operation when the indoor temperature decreases.

How to Replace the Battery and Open the Door During an Emergency

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries immediately when the battery replacement alarm melody or LED is activated. Failure to do so may cause the door lock to shut down due to power loss. Remove the interior unit cover by pushing it upwards.

Emergency Door Open

If the door lock is used without replacing batteries after the replacement alarm, it may not operate normally due to insufficient power. Emergency power or mechanical override can be used to open the door.

Emergency Power

Connect a 9V battery to the external power contact point on the exterior unit and perform authentication (password/keytag) to open the door.

Mechanical Override

Use the mechanical override to open the door if the lock fails due to low battery power or circuit errors. Insert the override into the designated hole at the bottom of the exterior unit and turn the key.
