Specifications

Location of Low Point Drain

The low point drain is located in the rear storage compartment at the back, near the propane hookup on the passenger side. This is also the freshwater tank drain.

Location of Water Pump

The water pump is located under the wardrobe. Pull out the bottom drawer for access. The pump is equipped with a Winterizing port. It was noted that the pump was not screwed into the floor, but securing it to the floor reduces noise during operation.

The Dometic WH-6GEA 6-gallon water heater was replaced with a Furrion FWH09EA-PS Tankless water heater, which fits the existing opening without modifications.

Location of slide and bed controllers

The overhead bed control is in the storage compartment above the driver's seat.

The bed slide-out controller is in a small storage compartment at the back of the coach, in the same location as the low point freshwater tank drain.

The dinette and couch slide-out controller is located under the slide-out in the compartment next to the generator.

Slide Controller Troubleshooting

If a slide will not retract, locate the slide controller. Observe the lights for error indications (color and number of flashes). Error codes are displayed on the controller face. To manually override and retract the slide: Press the reset button 6 times, then press and hold it until the lights flash. Use the retract button while the lights are flashing. This is an emergency procedure and continued use may damage the mechanism. The manual for the controller can be found at: ccd-0001573-10.pdf. One slide motor failure was experienced, and this procedure was used to retract the slide.

TV Connections

TV connections are located in the small cabinet over the microwave. This includes USB cables for the front and bedroom TVs, and an on-off switch for the Winegard TV antenna. A red light on the switch plate indicates the antenna is active. The cabinet also contains a 110-volt power outlet.

Android Auto

To use Android Auto with the AVM2210H AXXERA radio, the USB port located below the radio must be used, not the one on the radio itself.

Wheel Simulator Lug Nut Cover

If a wheel simulator lug nut cover is lost, it can be identified by indentations on the nut that holds the cover. For the Thor Freedom Traveler A27, the front wheels have three such nuts. A replacement part is the Phoenix PNF22LNT Lug Nut Cover with Jam Nut, which is 1 3/8" tall. A T-shaped tool, found in the Thor manual bag, is used to remove and mount these covers.
