1. Main Features
This is a combination quartz watch with a full range of functions such as Football Timer that can calculate the loss time during a game, Alarm and Chronograph. Zone Set that allows you to easily call out the time and calendar of 30 cities, and EL light for reading time at dark are also added.
2. Component Parts and their Functions
The watch features an analog display for hours, minutes, and seconds, and a digital display for various functions. Key components include the Crown, Button (A), Button (B), and Button (M).

The watch features an analog dial with hour, minute, and second hands, and a digital display. It has three buttons labeled (A), (B), and (M), and a crown. The functions are accessed by pressing button (M) to cycle through modes like Time (TME), Calendar (CAL), Alarm 1 (AL-1), Alarm 2 (AL-2), Zone Set (SET), Timer (TMR), Chronograph (CHR), and Football Timer (F.B.).
3. Setting the Analog Time
To set the analog time:
- Pull the crown one step to stop the second hand.
- Rotate the crown to set the correct time.
- After setting the time, return the crown to its normal position to start operating.
To Set Time Correctly: Hold the second hand at the 0-second position. Advance the minute hand 4 to 5 minutes ahead, then move it back oppositely. Finally, set the correct time and push in the crown.
4. Switching Digital Functions (Modes)
This watch offers various modes including Time, Calendar, Alarms (1 & 2), Football Timer, Timer, Chronograph, and Zone Set. You can switch between these modes by pressing button (M). The current mode is indicated by a mode mark on the display.
The mode switching sequence is typically: Time (TME) → Calendar (CAL) → Alarm-1 (AL-1) → Alarm-2 (AL-2) → Zone Set (SET) → Chronograph (CHR) → Timer (TMR) → Football Timer (F.B.) → Time (TME).
Note: If no button operation is performed for 2 minutes or longer in Alarm 1, Alarm 2, or Zone Set modes, the watch will automatically return to the normal Time display.
5. How to Call Out the Time or Calendar of Each City in the World
You can easily view the time or calendar for pre-registered cities. To do this:
- Press button (M) to set the watch to Time [TME] or Calendar [CAL] mode.
- Press button (B). Each press cycles through cities in the UP direction (increasing time difference).
- While holding button (B), press button (A) to cycle through cities in the DOWN direction (decreasing time difference).
Note: Press and hold button (B) to return to the adjustment mode.

6. Setting the Digital Time
To set the digital time:
- Press button (M) to set to Time [TME] mode.
- Press button (B), or press button (A) while holding button (B), to display the city name for adjustment. Press and hold button (B) to enter the adjustment mode.
- Pressing button (B) for 1 second or longer will cause the "S.T." mark and "ON/OF" to flash, entering the summertime adjustment mode.
- Pressing button (B) cycles through adjustment positions, which will flash.
- Press button (A) to adjust the flashing position.
Summertime Adjustment: Pressing button (A) toggles "ON/OF". "ON" adds 1 hour.
Second Adjustment: Pressing button (A) resets seconds to 0. If seconds are between 30-59, pressing (A) adds 1 minute.
Minute/Hour Adjustment: Press and hold button (A) for rapid adjustment.
12H/24H Display: Pressing button (A) switches between 12-hour and 24-hour formats. In 12-hour format, pay attention to A.M./P.M. indicators.
After adjusting time under 12H/24H mode, press button (B) to return to the normal Time display.
Notes:
- Setting the time for one city automatically adjusts times for other cities, including UTC.
- Pressing button (M) in any adjustment mode forces a return to the normal Time display.
- If no button is pressed for 2 minutes in an adjustment mode, the watch returns to the normal Time display.
The adjustment sequence involves pressing buttons (M), (B), and (A) to navigate through Summertime, Seconds, Minutes, Hours, and 12H/24H settings.
7. Setting the Calendar
To set the calendar:
- Press button (M) to set to Calendar [CAL] mode.
- Press button (B), or press button (A) while holding button (B), to display the city name for adjustment. Press and hold button (B) to enter the adjustment mode.
- Pressing button (B) for 1 second or longer will cause the "Month" to flash, entering the Calendar adjustment mode.
- Pressing button (B) cycles through adjustment positions (Month, Date, Year), which will flash.
- Press button (A) to adjust the flashing position. Press and hold button (A) for rapid adjustment.
After adjusting the "Year", press button (B) to return to the normal Calendar display.
Notes:
- Setting the calendar for one city automatically adjusts calendars for other cities, including UTC.
- Pressing button (M) in any adjustment mode forces a return to the normal Calendar display.
- If no button is pressed for 2 minutes in an adjustment mode, the watch returns to the normal Calendar display.
- Years can be set from 2000 to 2099.
- The day of the week is set automatically based on the year, month, and day.
- If a non-existent date (e.g., February 30) is set, the display will automatically show the first day of the next month upon returning to normal mode.
The adjustment sequence involves pressing buttons (M), (B), and (A) to navigate through Month, Date, and Year settings.
8. Using the Alarm
Alarms 1 and 2 have different sounds but the same setting operations. The alarm sounds for 15 seconds daily at the set time. To stop a sounding alarm, press buttons (A), (B), or (M).
How to Set Alarm Time:
- Press button (M) to set to Alarm 1 [AL-1] or Alarm 2 [AL-2] mode.
- Press button (B), or press button (A) while holding button (B), to display the city name for adjustment. Press and hold button (B) to enter the adjustment mode.
- Pressing button (B) for 1 second or longer will cause the "Hour" to flash, entering the Alarm adjustment mode.
- Pressing button (B) cycles through adjustment positions ("hour" and "minute"), which will flash.
- Press button (A) to adjust the flashing position. Press and hold button (A) for rapid adjustment.
Notes:
- If the Time mode is 12H, the Alarm display also uses 12H format. Ensure correct A.M./P.M. setting.
- Pressing button (M) in any adjustment mode forces a return to the normal Time display.
- If no button is pressed for 2 minutes in an adjustment mode, the watch returns to the normal Alarm display.
To Switch Alarm ON/OF:
In the normal Alarm display, press button (A) to switch the Alarm ON or OFF.
Alarm Sound Monitor:
Press button (A) while in the normal Alarm display to test the alarm sound.
The alarm setting process involves navigating through modes and adjusting hours and minutes using buttons (M), (B), and (A).
9. Using the Football Timer
The Football Timer can be set from 45 to 5 minutes in 5-minute increments. When active, it allows measurement of loss time without interrupting the main timer.
How to Set Football Timer:
- Press button (M) and set to Football Timer [F.B.] mode.
- Press button (B) to decrease the time by 5 minutes. Display the desired time. Press and hold button (B) for rapid adjustment. The sequence for setting time is 45 → 40 → 35 → ... → 10 → 5 minutes.
Using the Football Timer:
- Set Time and Run: Set the Football Timer time and press button (A). The display enters Timer Run mode and starts measuring. Pressing (A) repeatedly alternates between Timer Run and Stop.
- Return to Set Mode: Press button (B) while in Stop mode to return to Football Timer Set.
- Loss Time Measurement: In Timer Run mode, press button (B). The display shows "LOS" flashing and begins measuring loss time. Press button (B) again to end loss time measurement; the accumulated loss time is displayed for 5 seconds.
Note: Accumulated loss time can be measured repeatedly, up to a maximum of 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, the measurement resets automatically, and the display returns to Football Timer Run. When the set Football Timer time ends, a game over sound plays for 2 seconds, then the display goes to Loss Time Run.
After shifting to the Loss Time Run mode, new loss time measurements cannot be started. When the total measurement (set time + loss time) ends, a time-up sound plays for 5 seconds, returning the watch to Football Timer Set. Pressing (A) in Loss Time Run mode shifts to Loss Time Stop, with Run/Stop repeating on each press of (A). Pressing (B) in Loss Time Stop mode returns to Football Timer Set.
10. Using the Timer
The Timer can be set up to 60 minutes in 1-minute increments. After measurement, a time-up sound plays for approximately 5 seconds, and the watch returns to the Timer Initial Setting mode.
How to Set Timer:
- Press button (M) to set to Timer [TMR] mode.
- Press button (B) to decrease the time by 1 minute. Display the desired time. Press and hold button (B) for rapid adjustment. The sequence for setting time is 60 → 59 → 58 → ... → 3 → 2 → 1 minute.
How to Use Timer:
- Set the Timer time and press button (A) to shift to Timer Run. Pressing (A) repeatedly alternates between Timer Run and Stop.
- Press button (B) in Stop mode to return to Timer Set.
- Press button (B) in Timer Run mode to return to Timer Set and resume measuring (fly back).
The Timer operates through Timer Set Mode, Timer Run Mode, and Stop states, with transitions managed by buttons (A) and (B).
11. Using the Chronograph
The Chronograph measures in units of 1/100 of a second, up to 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds. Upon reaching 24 hours, it resets to 00 seconds and stops.
How to Measure:
- Press button (M) to set to Chronograph mode.
- Press button (A) to start measuring. Each press of (A) repeats measurement and stop. During measurement, "RUN" flashes on the digital display. When stopped, the display shows the measurement reading to 1/100 second.
- When button (B) is pressed during measuring, the watch shifts to Split status for 10 seconds. "SPL" and the 1/100-second measurement of split time are displayed alternately.
- Press button (B) in Stop mode to reset the display to 00 seconds.
The Chronograph operation involves Measuring, Stopping, and Split Time states, controlled by buttons (A) and (B).
12. Using the Zone Set
The Zone Set function allows setting the UTC (Universal Time Coordinated) and up to 30 city names. Only cities set to "ON" can be easily displayed. Summertime for each city can also be set.
Zone Setting:
- Press button (M) to set Zone Set [SET] mode (City Selection status).
- Press button (B), or press button (A) while holding button (B), to display the city name for adjustment. Press and hold button (B) to switch to the adjustment mode.
- Pressing button (B) for 1 second or longer causes the "city name" and "ON/OF" to flash.
- Press button (A) to set "ON" (city name display) or "OF" (no city name display).
- Pressing button (B) causes "S.T." and "ON/OF" to flash, entering the Summertime setting mode.
- Press button (A) to set "ON" (summertime setting) or "OF" (no summertime setting).
- Press button (B), or press button (A) while holding button (B), to display the next city name.
- Press button (M) in the set mode to return to Zone Set [SET] (City Selection mode).
Note: If no button is pressed for 2 minutes in the set mode, the watch returns to the City Selection.
Confirming Set City Name:
In Zone Set [SET] mode, press button (B) or (A) while holding (B) to display the city name and its ON/OF status. Press and hold button (B) to switch to time adjustment mode. Only cities marked "ON" can be called out in Time, Calendar, or Alarm modes.
The City Selection Mode involves selecting cities and setting their display and summertime status using buttons (M), (B), and (A).
13. All Reset Function
Use the All Reset function after replacing the battery or if the watch exhibits abnormal operation (e.g., continuous alarm sound, no display) due to static electricity or impact.
How to Set All Reset:
- Pull the crown out one step.
- Press buttons (A), (B), and (M) simultaneously to initiate All Reset. All digital displays will turn on.
- Release all buttons and return the crown to its normal position. A confirmation sound indicates the release of lit displays.
- From 12:00:00 AM UTC, the digital time will start ticking using the 12H system.
- Correctly set all functions, including Time and Calendar, before using the watch.
14. Precautions
WARNING: Water-resistance performance
The watch's water resistance varies. Consult the table below for details:

Note: The unit "bar" is approximately equal to 1 atmosphere. "WATER RESIST(ANT) xx bar" may also be indicated as "W.R. xx bar". For correct use, confirm your watch's water resistance level on the dial/case and consult the table.
CAUTION: Keep your watch clean.
- Regularly rotate the crown to loosen dust and dirt deposited between the case and crown. Brush off any dust.
- Clean dust and dirt from gaps in the back of the case or band to prevent corrosion and staining.
Cleaning the Watch:
- Use a soft cloth to wipe dirt, perspiration, and water from the case and crystal.
- Use a soft, dry cloth for leather bands.
- For metal, plastic, or rubber bands, wash with mild soap and water, using a soft brush for gaps. If not water-resistant, consult your dealer.
- Avoid solvents (thinner, benzine) as they can damage the finish.
WARNING: Handling of the battery
- Keep batteries out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.
CAUTION: Replacing the battery
- For battery replacement, contact your dealer or Citizen Service Center.
- Replace the battery promptly when its service life expires to prevent leakage and damage.
CAUTION: Operating environment
- Use the watch within the specified operating temperature range (0°C to +55°C / +32°F to +131°F). Temperatures outside this range may affect performance or cause stoppage.
- Do not use the watch in high temperatures (e.g., saunas) as this may cause skin burns.
- Do not leave the watch in hot places like a car's glove compartment or dashboard, as this can deform plastic parts.
- Keep the watch away from magnets. Magnetic fields can cause inaccurate timekeeping. If affected, move the watch away from the magnet and reset the time.
- Avoid placing the watch near appliances that generate static electricity, as this can affect timekeeping accuracy.
- Do not subject the watch to strong shocks, such as dropping it.
- Avoid environments with chemicals or corrosive gases, as contact may cause discoloration, melting, or cracking. Mercury contact can also cause discoloration.
