Installation Overview
The following steps outline the installation process:
- Step 1: Attach the light fixture to the stake. Connect the low-voltage wire to the fixture's wire lead.
[Diagram Description: The light fixture is shown being screwed onto a stake. An arrow indicates connecting the low-voltage wire from the fixture to the main low-voltage cable.]
- Step 2: Route the low-voltage wire through the stake. Prepare to connect the wire connector.
[Diagram Description: The low-voltage wire is shown being threaded through the hollow stake. An arrow points to the wire connector that will be used to join the fixture wire to the main cable.]
- Step 3: Connect the wire connector (A) to the low-voltage wire. Ensure the connector's pins pierce the wire insulation for a secure connection.
[Diagram Description: A close-up shows the wire connector (labeled 'A') being placed over the stripped end of the low-voltage wire. The diagram illustrates the pins of the connector penetrating the wire's insulation.]
- Step 4: The fixture is now assembled and ready for installation into the ground.
[Diagram Description: The complete path light assembly, with the wire connector attached, is shown. It is positioned as if being pushed into the ground.]
Wire Connection Instructions: Insert the wire from the low-voltage transformer (sold separately) into the wire guide by twisting the wire into each end. Align the pins on the connector top cover so each pin lines up with opposite sides of the wire. Securely tighten the connector top cover, ensuring the pins completely pierce the plastic shield of the wire.
