Operating Instructions
Introduction
This instruction manual explains how to use the Sony FE 24-105mm F4 G OSS interchangeable lens. It is designed for E-mount cameras and is compatible with 35mm format image sensors. For detailed information on compatibility and camera settings, refer to your camera's instruction manual or visit the Sony website.
Notes on Use
- Avoid exposing the lens to direct sunlight or bright light sources to prevent internal malfunction.
- When shooting against the sun, keep it out of the angle of view to prevent damage from concentrated solar rays.
- Always hold both the camera and lens securely when carrying them.
- Do not hold the lens by the protruding part when zooming.
- The lens is dust-proof and splash-proof but not waterproof. Avoid water contact.
Precautions on Using a Flash
- Built-in camera flashes cannot be used with this lens. Use an external flash.
- The lens may partially block the flash light, causing a shadow at the bottom of the picture.

Vignetting is when the corners of the screen appear darker than the center. To reduce this, close the aperture by 1 to 2 stops.
