Mounting Dimensions
The unit dimensions are 184 mm (Width) x 144 mm (Height) x 51.5 mm (Depth). The panel cutout dimensions are 172.4 mm (Width) x 132.4 mm (Height).
A minimum clearance of 60 mm is required on the rear of the HMI for heat dissipation.
Installation and Wiring
Precautions
- Incorrect installation may cause malfunction.
- Ensure sufficient space around the HMI for ventilation.
- Use on a case/platform conforming to enclosure Type 4X standard (indoor use only).
- Maximum panel thickness for mounting is 5 mm.
- Use copper conductors only.
Installation Steps
- Insert the waterproof gasket into the HMI and then insert the HMI into the panel cutout.
- Place fasteners into the slots and tighten the screws until they reach the panel cutouts.
- Tighten screws with a torque less than 0.5 N-M / 0.7 N-M (DOP-107EG torque: 6.17 lb-inch or 0.7 N-M) to avoid damaging the plastic case.
- Ensure a minimum clearance of 60 mm on the rear of the HMI for heat dissipation.
Wiring
Wiring Details:
- Type: Solid, Stranded
- Wire Gauge (AWG): 24-12
- Stripped Length: 7-8 mm
- Torque: 5 kg-cm (4.3 lb-in)
Power Connector Wiring: Use cables with a temperature rating greater than 75°C (167°F).

Notes
- The half-life of the backlight is defined as the maximum luminance being reduced by 50% when the maximum drive current is supplied to the HMI. The life of LED backlight shown here is estimated at room temperature of 25°C with ambient humidity.
- The withstand voltage of the isolated power circuit is 1500 V peak for 1 minute.
- The HMI power consumption is the power consumed when the HMI is not connecting with other peripheral devices. For normal operation, the recommended power supply capacity is 1.5 to 2 times the specified power consumption.
- An isolated power supply is recommended.
- DOP-100 series programming software (DOPSoft) and user manuals can be downloaded from www.delta.com.tw/ia.
- DOP-100 series can be used with other industrial automation equipment. Read this sheet carefully and install according to instructions to avoid danger.
