Installation and Wiring
Precautions
- Incorrect installation direction may cause malfunction.
- Ensure sufficient space around the HMI for proper ventilation and cooling.
- Use on enclosures conforming to Type 4X standard (indoor use only).
- Recommended maximum panel thickness: 5 mm (0.2 inches).
- Use copper wires only.
- Do not apply a pulling force exceeding 1.5kg to wires to prevent breakage. [Warning]
Installation Steps
- Step 1: Attach the waterproof gasket to the HMI and insert it into the panel cutout.
- Step 2: Place fasteners into the slots and tighten screws until they reach the panel cutouts.
- Step 3: Tighten screws with a torque of 0.5-0.7 N-m. Do not exceed the specified torque to avoid damaging the plastic case.
- Step 4: For heat dissipation, maintain a minimum clearance of 60 mm (2.36 inches) at the rear and 45 mm (1.77 inches) at the bottom of the HMI.
Wiring
Refer to the power connector diagram for wiring. Use cables rated for at least 75°C (167°F).
