About the Safety Supply Hose

The safety supply hose has double walls to block water flow if the hose breaks or the air space fills with water.

WARNING! To avoid water staying in the inlet hose, close the hydrant after use.

WARNING! A hose attached to a sink spray can burst if installed on the same water line as the dishwasher. Disconnect it and plug the hole if applicable.

How to disconnect the safety supply hose

  1. Turn off the water.
  2. Release water pressure by pressing the pressure release button to prevent splashing.
  3. Unscrew the safety supply hose from the faucet.

QUICK START GUIDE

For detailed operation, refer to the main instruction manual.

Programme Modification & Forgotten Dishes

Switch off the appliance

Turn off water tap, unload baskets

Warning: Wait ~15 minutes before unloading to avoid handling hot dishes. This also aids drying. Unload from the lower basket first.

Before Starting the Dishwasher

Checks to perform:

  1. Dishwasher is level and fixed.
  2. Inlet valve is open.
  3. No leakage at connections.
  4. Wires are tightly connected.
  5. Power is switched on.
  6. Inlet and drain hoses are not knotted or kinked.
  7. All packing materials are removed.

Prior to Using for the First Time

Fill the Rinse Aid Dispenser

Rinse aid prevents water spots and improves drying. Use liquid rinse aids. The dispenser is inside the door. Fill until the level indicator turns completely black. The container volume is about 110ml.

Function of the Rinse Aid

Rinse aid is added during the final rinse for thorough rinsing and spot/streak-free drying.

WARNING! Use only branded rinse aid. Do not use cleaning agents or liquid detergent, as this will damage the appliance.

When to refill the Rinse Aid Dispenser

If no warning light is present, check the optical level indicator "C" next to the cap. As rinse aid diminishes, the dark dot size decreases. Never let it fall below 1/4 full.

Rinse Aid Level Indicator:

C (Rinse-Aid indicator)

How to fill the Rinse Aid Dispenser

  1. To open, turn the cap to the "open" (left) arrow and lift.
  2. Pour rinse aid carefully, avoiding overfilling.
  3. Replace the cap by aligning with the "open" arrow and turning to the closed (right) arrow.

Attention: Be careful not to overfill, as this can cause over-sudsing. Wipe spills with a damp cloth. Replace the cap before closing the door.

ATTENTION! Clean up any spilled rinse aid with an absorbent cloth to avoid excess foaming.

Adjusting the Rinse Aid Dispenser

The dispenser has six or four settings. Start with "4". If spots or poor drying occur, increase the setting (e.g., to "5"). Adjust higher if needed until dishes are spot-free. Recommended setting is "4".

NOTE: Increase dose for water drops or lime spots. Reduce dose for sticky whitish stains or bluish film on glassware.

Adjust lever (Rinse): A dial with settings 1 to 6 (MAX).

Detergents

Detergents contain chemicals to remove dirt. Most commercial quality detergents are suitable.

Types of Detergents:

  1. With phosphate and chlorine
  2. With phosphate and without chlorine
  3. Without phosphate and without chlorine

New powdered detergents are often phosphate-free. For hard water (above 6 °dH), use salt even with phosphate-free detergents. Without phosphate, white spots may appear on dishes. Add more detergent for better results. Detergents without chlorine offer minimal bleaching; strong/coloured spots may require a higher temperature program.

Concentrated Detergent

Types:

Using "normal" programs with concentrated detergents reduces pollution and is good for dishes, as programs are matched to enzyme properties.

Detergent Tablets

Tablets dissolve at different speeds. Use long programs to ensure complete dissolution and cleaning power.

Detergent Dispenser

Refill before each wash cycle. Uses less detergent than conventional dishwashers. Generally, one tablespoon is sufficient for a normal load. Add detergent just before starting, or it may become damp and not dissolve properly.

Adding detergent to Dishwasher

NOTE: Information on detergent amounts for programs is on Page 19. Soiling levels and water hardness can affect results. Observe manufacturer recommendations on detergent packaging.

Detergent Dispenser (Continued)

WARNING! Dishwasher detergent is poisonous! Keep out of reach of children.

Proper Use of Detergent

Filling the dispenser: Markings indicate dosing levels:

Diagram Description: Shows the detergent dispenser lid with markings A and B. Step 1 shows pressing a latch to open. Step 2 shows filling the dispenser.

Observe manufacturer's dosing and storage recommendations.

Close the lid and press until it locks.

For heavily soiled dishes, add extra detergent to the pre-wash chamber.

NOTE: Refer to Page 19 for program-specific detergent amounts. Results may vary based on soiling and water hardness.

LOADING THE DISHWASHER BASKET

Recommendation

Suitability of use in the dishwasher

Attention before or after Loading the Dishwasher Baskets

Follow loading guidelines for best performance. Scrape off large food particles; soften burnt food in pans.

Loading Procedure

Removing the Dishes

To prevent water dripping from the upper basket onto the lower, unload the lower basket first, then the upper basket.

Loading the Upper Basket

The upper basket holds delicate and lighter dishware (glasses, cups, saucers, small bowls, shallow pans). Position items so they don't move from the spray.

Diagram Description: Shows the upper basket with numbered placements for cups, saucers, and glasses. An arrow indicates the direction of water flow ('IN').

Adjusting the Upper Basket

Basket height can be adjusted for larger utensils. Lift the handle on either side to change height (Lower position / Upper position).

Diagram Description: Shows the upper basket in its lower and upper positions, with an arrow pointing to the 'Adjustment Handle'.

Folding back the cup shelves

For reduced loads or better stacking, cup shelves can be folded down.

Diagram Description: Shows cup shelves folded down.

Please be reminded that:

Loading the Lower Basket

Place large and difficult-to-clean items (pots, pans, lids, serving dishes, bowls) in the lower basket. Position serving dishes and lids on the side of racks to avoid blocking the top spray arm.

Diagram Description: Shows the lower basket with numbered placements for dinner plates (4), soup plates (5), dessert dishes (6), and cutlery basket (7). An arrow indicates water flow ('IN').

Folding spikes of Lower Basket

Spikes can be folded down for better stacking of pots and pans.

Diagram Description: Shows folding spikes in the lower basket.

Cutlery Basket

Place cutlery in the basket with handles at the bottom. Load spoons separately into appropriate slots. Long utensils should be placed horizontally at the front of the upper basket.

WARNING! Do not let any item extend through the bottom. Always load sharp utensils with the sharp point down.

Attention: Child lock function: Press the delay button and program button simultaneously to lock the program.

Turning On the Appliance

Starting a wash cycle:

  1. Draw out and load baskets, then push them back. Load lower basket first.
  2. Add detergent.
  3. Insert plug into socket (220-240 VAC/50 HZ, 10A 250VAC). Ensure water supply is on.
  4. Close door, press ON/OFF button.
  5. Press program button to select program; its icon will light up. Press Start/Pause to begin.

NOTE: Pressing Start/Pause during washing stops the running indicator and sounds a buzzer every minute until Start/Pause is pressed again.

Change the Program

A cycle can only be modified if it has run for a short time. Otherwise, detergent may have been released and water drained; refill dispenser. Press Start/Pause, then press program button for >3 seconds to enter standby. Select new program and press Start/Pause.

NOTE: Opening the door during a wash cycle pauses the machine. The program light stops blinking, and a buzzer sounds every minute until the door is closed. The machine resumes after 10 seconds.

Forget to add a Dish?

A forgotten dish can be added anytime before the detergent cup opens.

  1. Press Start/Pause.
  2. Open door slightly to stop washing.
  3. After spray arms stop, open door completely.
  4. Load forgotten dishes.
  5. Close door.
  6. Press Start/Pause to resume after 10 seconds.

WARNING! It is dangerous to open the door during washing due to hot water.

At the End of the Wash Cycle

When the cycle finishes, a buzzer sounds for 8 seconds. Turn off the appliance using the Power button, shut off the water supply, and open the door. Wait a few minutes before unloading for dishes to cool and dry better.

Switch off the Dishwasher

The program light will be solid (not blinking) when the program has ended. Press the Power button. Turn off the water tap.

Open the door carefully

Dishes are sensitive to knocks. Allow them to cool for ~15 minutes before removing. Leave the door ajar for a few minutes; dishes will be cooler and dry better.

Unloading the Dishwasher

It is normal for the interior to be wet. Empty the lower basket first, then the upper basket, to prevent water dripping.

Care and Cleaning

Filtering System

The filter prevents large food remnants from entering the pump. Residue may block the filter and must be removed. The system has a coarse filter, a flat (Main filter), and a microfilter (Fine filter).

Diagram Description: Shows steps for filter removal: Step 1 shows turning the filter anti-clockwise. Step 2 shows lifting the filter assembly up.

Filter Assembly

The filter removes food particles, allowing water recycling. Clean regularly for best performance. Remove large particles after each wash by rinsing the filter and cup under running water. Pull the cup handle upwards to remove the filter device.

WARNING! Never use the dishwasher without filters. Improper filter replacement can reduce performance and damage dishes.

NOTES:

Cleaning the Filter

Use a cleaning brush for the coarse and fine filters. Reassemble as shown and reinsert, pressing downwards.

WARNING! Do not knock the filters when cleaning, as this could distort them and reduce performance.

Caring for the Dishwasher

How to keep your Dishwasher in shape

When not in Use for a long time

Run an empty wash cycle, unplug the appliance, turn off the water supply, and leave the door slightly open. This helps preserve door seals and prevent odours.

Moving the Appliance

Keep the appliance in a vertical position when moving. If necessary, it can be tilted onto its back.

Seals

Food trapped in seals can cause odours. Periodic cleaning with a damp sponge helps prevent this.
