Electrical Connections

Before plugging in, check that:

Installation

Position the appliance in the room to be dehumidified. Ensure at least 2 ft (61 cm) clearance at the front to avoid blocking the air outlet. For efficient ventilation, leave about 2-4 in (5-10 cm) at the back.

Condensate Drainage Options:

A) Draining into the Tank

Condensate drains directly into the easily removable tank (see Fig. 1). When full, remove and empty into a sink, then replace properly. Note: The tank must be positioned correctly for the unit to function. An intermittent beep indicates the tank is not properly positioned.

B) Continuous External Draining

For long periods of operation or when regular tank emptying is not possible, continuous draining is recommended.

Fig. 2 Diagram Description: Illustrates removing the drain cap (1) by turning counterclockwise and removing the rubber stopper (2) from the spout.

Fig. 3 Diagram Description: Shows inserting the drain cap (1) into the condensate drain hose (8) and screwing it into the spout.

Fig. 4 Diagram Description: Depicts the rubber stopper being used to close the spout.

Fig. 5 Diagram Description: Illustrates the correct positioning of the drain hose, ensuring it is not higher than the spout and has no kinks.

C) Continuous Draining Using the Pump (Pump Models Only)

The built-in pump system allows water removal up to 13 ft (4m) in height. To drain directly to a drain, connect the condensation discharge tube (9) to the connection pipe on the lower front part of the unit (after removing the PUMP stopper). Select the dehumidifying function and press the PUMP button.

Note: If the discharge hose is missing and the pump is ON, the PUMP symbol will blink. To resolve: check hose position, disconnect and reconnect the plug.

Control Panel

Diagram Description: The control panel features a display, ON/STAND-BY button, Room temperature/°F/°C button, Fan speed button, Humidity increase/decrease buttons (+/-), TIMER button, and PUMP button (on some models).
