Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
- Rinse Aid: Rinse aid is strongly recommended for optimal drying performance, especially with the hybrid drying system that does not use a heating element.
- Cloudy Film on Dishes: This is often caused by minerals reacting with detergent. Ensure correct detergent usage, consider an extra rinse, or use a performance booster for hard water.
- White Film on Tub: Clean the tub by filling the main detergent compartment with citric acid powder and running a 'Machine Clean' cycle.
- Improving Drying Results: Ensure hot water supply, use the 'High Temp.' setting, and adjust rinse aid levels. For plastic items, use 'Extra Dry' or 'Night Dry' options.
- Hybrid Drying System: This system uses retained heat from cycles to evaporate moisture, which is then condensed and drained.
- Whistling Sound: A whistling sound during water intake is normal. Adjust water pressure if it's too loud.
- Dishwasher Safe Items: Ensure dishes are dishwasher safe. Plastic items may require hand drying due to poor heat retention.
- Drain Only Cycle: Press and hold 'Start' for three seconds to drain standing water.
- Continuous Chiming: This indicates high internal temperatures for safety. Chiming stops when the unit cools down.
- Control Lock: Prevents accidental changes. Activate/deactivate by pressing 'Flex Zone' and 'High Temp.' simultaneously for three seconds.
- Drain Hose Extension: Use a 5/8" or 7/8" inside diameter hose, 2-3 ft in length, with a coupler.
- Dishwasher Won't Start: Ensure the door is closed within four seconds of pressing 'Start'.
- Pre-rinsing: Not necessary for Normal and Auto cycles as the dishwasher cleans effectively without it.
