This guide provides instructions for setting up, using, and maintaining your Fitbit Ace 3 activity tracker.

Getting Started

Welcome to the Fitbit Ace 3, the next-generation activity and sleep tracker designed to make it easy and fun for kids ages 6 and up to be active and build healthy habits for the whole family. Please review our complete safety information at fitbit.com/safety. The Ace 3 is not intended to provide medical or scientific data.

What's in the Box

Your Ace 3 box contains:

  • Tracker

Setting Up Ace 3

Learn how to set up your Ace 3. Sign in or create your own Fitbit account, then create a family and child account. When setting up an account, you'll be asked to enter information like your child's height to help calculate their activity. To use certain features and view all data collected by Ace 3, open the kids' view in the Fitbit app.

Charging Your Tracker

A fully charged Ace 3 has a battery life of up to 8 days. Battery life varies with use and other factors; animated clock faces use more battery. To charge your Ace 3:

  1. Plug the charging cable into a USB port on your computer, a UL-certified USB wall charger, or other low-power charging devices.
  2. Align the pins on the other end of the charging cable with the gold contacts on the back of the Ace 3. Press the Ace 3 gently into the charger until it snaps into place.

To detach the Ace 3 from the charging cable:

  1. Hold the Ace 3 and push your thumbnail between the charger and the back of the tracker at one of the corners.
  2. Gently press down into the charger until it separates from the tracker.

Charging fully takes about 1-2 hours. While the tracker is charging, you can press the button to check the battery level. A fully charged tracker shows a lit battery icon with a smiley face.

Wearing Ace 3
