8BitDo Ultimate C 2.4G Wireless Controller
Product Overview
The 8BitDo Ultimate C 2.4G Wireless Controller is designed for versatile gaming across multiple platforms, including Windows, Android, and Raspberry Pi. It offers both wireless and wired connectivity options.
Controller Layout
The controller features a standard gamepad layout:
- Top Shoulder Buttons: [LB button], [LT button], [RB button], [RT button]
- Front Face Buttons: [Directional buttons], [Left Analog Stick], [View button], [Menu button], [A button], [B button], [X button], [Y button], [Star button], [Home button], [Right Analog Stick]
- Bottom Port: [USB-C Port] for charging and wired connection.
- Indicators: [Status LED], [Power LED]
The package includes a [2.4G Receiver] for wireless connectivity.
Powering On and Off
- Power On: Press and hold the [Home button] (connects to the last used device/mode).
- Power Off: Press and hold the [Home button] for 3 seconds.
- Force Shutdown: Press and hold the [Home button] for 8 seconds.
Re-pairing the 2.4G Receiver
If the controller loses connection with the receiver or the receiver is replaced, follow these steps to re-pair:
- Connect the provided [2.4G Receiver] to the USB port of your device.
- Turn on the controller by pressing the [Home button].
- Press and hold the [View button] for approximately 5 seconds until the [Status LED] blinks rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
- Wait for the controller to automatically pair with the receiver. The [Status LED] will remain solid once connected.
Connectivity
Windows
Requires Windows 10 (version 1903) or later.
Wireless Connection:
- Connect the provided [2.4G Receiver] to a USB port on your Windows device.
- Press the [X button] + [Home button] simultaneously to turn on the controller. Wait for system detection and the [Status LED] to become solid.
Wired Connection:
- Press the [X button] + [Home button] simultaneously to turn on the controller.
- Connect the controller to a USB port on your Windows device using the [USB Cable]. Wait for system detection and the [Status LED] to become solid.
Android / Raspberry Pi
Android devices must support the OTG function. Consult your device manufacturer for details.
Wireless Connection:
- Connect the provided [2.4G Receiver] to the USB port of your device.
- Press the [B button] + [Home button] simultaneously to turn on the controller. Wait for system detection and the [Status LED] to become solid.
Wired Connection:
- Press the [B button] + [Home button] simultaneously to turn on the controller.
- Connect the controller to a USB port on your Android/Raspberry Pi device using the [USB Cable]. Wait for system detection and the [Status LED] to become solid.
Turbo Function
When a button with the turbo function enabled is pressed, the [Status LED] will blink continuously. The directional buttons and the left/right analog sticks do not support the turbo function.
To enable/disable the turbo function for a specific button: Press and hold the desired button, then press the [Star button].
Power and Battery Status
The controller is equipped with a [480mAh rechargeable lithium battery] providing approximately 25 hours of playtime with about 2 hours of charging time.
Battery Status Indicators:
- Low Battery: [Red LED] blinks.
- Charging: [Red LED] is solid.
- Charge Complete: [Red LED] is off.
