Test Procedure Overview:

  • Conducted emission tests were performed on 2025-03-20.
  • Radiated emission tests were performed on 2025-03-24 to 2025-03-28.

Test Setup Diagrams:

Conducted Emission Setup: The setup includes the EUT, LISN, Transformer, Power Supply, EMI receiver, and Computer.

Radiated Emission Setup (30 MHz – 1000 MHz): The setup involves the EUT placed on a turntable, a receiving antenna at a 3-meter distance, and absorbers. The antenna polarization was varied (horizontal and vertical).

Radiated Emission Setup (1 GHz – 18 GHz): Similar to the 30-1000 MHz setup, with the antenna at a 3-meter distance.

Test Software: The "Home" APP for iPhone was used.

Auxiliary Equipment:

  • Mobile phone: iPhone 15 (Apple)
  • Loudspeaker: HomePod mini (Apple)
  • Remote control: E2489 (IKEA)

Test Results - Emission

Conducted Emission (0.15 MHz – 30 MHz)

Test Procedure: FCC 47 CFR Part 15, Subpart B:2023, ICES-005:2018, ICES-003:2020, ANSI C63.4-2014 and CISPR 16-2-1.

Limits: Quasi-peak and Average limits are specified for the frequency range 0.15-30 MHz.

Bandwidth of EMI receiver: 9 kHz.

Measurement Time: 1 second.

Test Site: Shielded room.

Input Voltage: AC 120 V, 60 Hz.

Ambient Conditions: Temperature: 18.1 °C; Relative humidity: 52.1 %.

Expanded Measurement Uncertainty (k=2): 2.33 dB.

Minimum Margin: 7.97 dB at 0.498750 MHz.

The conducted emission tests were performed on the phase (L1) and neutral (N) lines. Results for Mode 1 (Warm, max output) are detailed in the following tables and spectral diagrams.

Test Site: Semi-anechoic chamber.

Test Distance: 3 m.

Operational Modes: 4 modes tested (Warm/White lighting, Max/Min output).

Ambient Conditions: Temperature: 22.5 °C; Relative humidity: 48.3 %.

Expanded Measurement Uncertainty (k=2): 5.40 dB.

Minimum Margin: 9.5 dB at 35.820000 MHz.

The tests were conducted with the EUT on an 80 cm wooden support, rotated 360°, and the antenna height varied from 1 m to 4 m. Measurements were taken in both horizontal and vertical polarizations. The results for Mode 1 (Warm, max output) are presented below.
