Panels & Controls
Top View
1. Power Button: Press to turn the unit on. Long press to turn off.
2. Light Button: Short press to change front light mode. Long press (2 sec) to change side light mode. Longer press (4 sec) to switch all lights off.
3. BASS/3D Button: Short press to toggle between Bass and 3D surround modes. A. Bass Off, 3D Off (orange LED off). B. Bass On, 3D Off (orange LED continuously lit). C. Bass Off, 3D On (orange LED slowly flashing). Long press switches off both modes.
4. Volume +/- Buttons: Press to increase/decrease volume. Long press to skip to the next/previous track.
5. SOURCE Button: Press repeatedly to switch playback mode (Bluetooth, AUX, USB). Long press activates TWS/Duo mode. USB mode requires a USB stick.
6. Play/Pause Button: Press to play or pause playback. Long press disconnects Bluetooth.
7. Track Skip Buttons: Use with Volume +/- buttons to skip tracks.
8. Source Indicator LED: Blue light indicates Bluetooth status (flashing for pairing, solid blue when connected). Changes indicate USB and AUX modes.

Operation Instructions
Charging the Speaker
This speaker uses built-in rechargeable batteries. Connect the supplied AC adapter to the DC 18V input port on the rear of the unit and then to a wall outlet.
CAUTION: Use only the supplied AC adapter and power supply. Using an unauthorized adapter may prevent charging or alter charging time, and could damage the device.
Powering On/Off the Speaker
Power On: Press the POWER ON/OFF button on the top panel. The source indicator will flash blue on first use, indicating pairing mode.
TIPS: To disable/enable voice prompts, press and hold the SOURCE button for 3 seconds during power-up.
Automatic Reconnection: After Bluetooth setup, the unit will search for and automatically pair with the last connected device upon power-on.
Power Off: Press the POWER ON/OFF button. The unit will automatically power off after 15 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery.
Bluetooth Connection
1. Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until the unit announces "Bluetooth". Ensure the unit is in pairing mode.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your device and select "Sharp PS-919" from the available devices. Enter "0000" if prompted for a password.
3. Upon successful connection, the source indicator will turn solid blue, and you will hear "Connected".
4. The unit is compatible with voice assistants on smart devices.
NOTES: The speaker supports automatic reconnection with previously paired devices. To pair with a new device, disconnect the current one. To disconnect Bluetooth, long-press the / button or turn off Bluetooth on your device.
Connecting Two PS-919 via Bluetooth (TWS / True Wireless Stereo - Duo Mode)
This feature allows connecting two PS-919 speakers for a true stereo experience (left and right channels). The first connected speaker acts as the master, the second as the slave.
1. On the second speaker, press and hold the SOURCE button until it announces "Duo Mode pairing". Release the buttons.
2. Wait for both speakers to announce "Duo Mode connected".
3. Pair the master speaker with your phone via Bluetooth, searching for "SHARP PS-919".
NOTES: If one speaker is powered off in Duo Mode, both will power off. Speakers must be powered on individually. Duo Mode will automatically reconnect when both are powered on. To disconnect Duo Mode, long-press the SOURCE button on the slave speaker until "Duo Mode disconnected" is heard.
It may take up to 1 minute for Duo Mode connection. Multi-phone pairing is not supported in Duo Mode; the master speaker connects to only one Bluetooth device.
To change the Bluetooth device in Duo Mode, long-press the / button on the master unit for 3 seconds to disconnect the current device and connect to a new one.
Volume synchronization between the unit and connected devices is supported. Buttons for volume and track skipping will synchronize between speakers in Duo Mode.
Keep speakers as close as possible in Duo Mode. Duo Mode performance may vary based on network environment. Some phones may experience a brief pause before music playback in Duo Mode.
To reset Duo Mode connection, long-press SOURCE on the slave speaker until "Duo Mode disconnected" is heard.
Listening to Music from External Device
Connect an auxiliary audio device via the 3.5mm audio input port. Press SOURCE repeatedly to switch to AUX mode (blue light flashes slowly). Play music on the external device and use the unit's volume buttons to adjust.
USB Playback and Charging Functions
The USB port supports playback of MP3 files from USB drives (up to 32GB, FAT32) and charging of mobile devices (5V/1A).
Insert a USB drive to enter USB mode. The unit will automatically start playing songs from the USB.
NOTES: USB mode is only available when a USB device is plugged in.
Adjusting Light Effects
Press the light button briefly to cycle through 4 front light effects: gradual color flashing, dynamic (music-synced) flashing, rotating color, monochrome rotating. Long press (2 sec) changes side light mode. Longer press (4 sec) turns off all lights.

Important Safety Instructions
General Precautions:
- Read all instructions before use.
- Keep away from heat sources, direct sunlight, dust, rain, and moisture.
- Do not expose to dripping or splashing. Do not place liquid-filled objects on or near the product.
- Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the apparatus.
- Do not install near heat sources like radiators, stoves, or other heat-producing apparatus.
- Do not place in humid or poorly ventilated areas.
- Do not mount on walls or ceilings.
- Keep away from objects that generate strong magnetic fields (TVs, speakers).
- Do not leave the unit unattended while in use.
- Ensure adequate clearance: at least 30 cm from the rear and top, 5 cm from each side. Do not block ventilation openings.
- Never allow children to insert objects into openings, as this could cause electric shock.
- Disconnect all cables before a storm to prevent lightning damage.
- Excessive sound pressure from headphones can cause hearing loss.
Power Cord Safety:
- Do not damage the power cord. Do not place heavy objects on it, stretch, or bend it. Do not use extension cords if damaged.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent, or qualified personnel.
- Ensure the unit is plugged into a 220-240V, 50Hz outlet. Higher voltage may cause malfunction or fire.
- Do not force a plug that does not fit the socket.
- Turn off the unit before unplugging.
- Do not connect or disconnect the power cord with wet hands.
- To completely disconnect the system for long periods, remove the AC power plug from the wall outlet.
- Ensure the power plug is always easily accessible.
Servicing and Maintenance:
- The product contains no user-serviceable parts. Contact the manufacturer or authorized service department for faults. Opening the device may be hazardous.
- Do not use the product immediately after unpacking; allow it to reach room temperature.
- Use only in moderate climates.
- Place on a flat, stable surface, free from vibrations. Ensure the product does not overhang furniture edges.
- Do not attempt to open the product or replace the battery. It is built-in and not replaceable. Using other batteries may void the warranty and pose a fire/explosion risk.
- Dispose of batteries according to local regulations. Recycle when possible. Do not dispose of in household waste or fire.
- Batteries may explode if damaged.
- Charge the battery only with the supplied charger and according to specified conditions.
Battery Care:
- The built-in battery can be charged hundreds of times but will eventually wear out.
- Unplug the charger when not in use.
- Do not leave a fully charged battery connected to a charger to prevent overcharging, which shortens its lifespan.
- A fully charged battery will lose charge over time if unused.
- Avoid storing the product in hot or cold places (e.g., cars in summer/winter) as this reduces battery capacity and lifespan.
- Store the device in a cool, moisture-free environment below 32°C.
- A hot or cold battery may temporarily prevent the product from working. Battery performance is limited at temperatures well below freezing.
- For storage longer than six months, charge the battery to 50% every six months. Store between 5°C and 20°C.
Battery Warning:
- Improper handling of the battery may present a fire or chemical burn risk.
- Do not attempt to open or replace the battery.
- Dispose of batteries according to local regulations; recycle if possible. Do not dispose of in household waste or fire.
- Batteries may explode if damaged.
- Charge only with the supplied charger under specified conditions.
How to Remove Battery for Disposal:
RISK OF INJURY. WEAR GLOVES. Battery removal should only be performed by an authorized service center.
- Gently pry off the metal speaker grille with a flat-head screwdriver.
- Remove 7 rubber screw covers and unscrew with a Philips screwdriver.
- Remove 1 screw from the bottom of the front cabinet half.
- Open the main casing.
- Locate the circuit board on the back.
- Remove 4 screws holding the circuit board and carefully lift it out.
- Disconnect the battery pack connector from the circuit board.
- Gently pull the battery pack away from the circuit board, peeling it off the adhesive pad.
Disposal of Equipment and Batteries:
Do not dispose of this product or its batteries as unsorted municipal waste. Return them to a designated collection point for WEEE recycling according to local law to conserve resources and protect the environment.
Most EU countries regulate battery disposal by law. Contact your retailer or local authorities for more information.
The symbols shown indicate that the product and batteries are electrical/electronic equipment. If "Hg" or "Pb" appears below the symbol, the battery contains traces of mercury or lead.
