General Information & Safety Instructions

To avoid damaging the television set, please observe the following safety instructions during setup and use:

LED DisplayToo much pressure on the screen can damage the television set.
Heat/damp/humidityThe television set should not be exposed to high temperatures (radiators, open fire) or areas with high humidity.
CondensationIf moved from a cool area to one with a higher temperature, leave the television set for at least an hour before plugging it in. Rapid temperature changes can lead to condensation, potentially damaging the set.
Air CirculationTo prevent overheating, ensure the ventilation slots at the rear are always clear.
Small ObjectsIt is important to ensure that no small objects or liquids enter the television set, as they can cause damage or fire.
Liquids/CandlesDo not place anything holding a liquid or any candles on the television set.
CrushingTake care to avoid crushing fingers or other objects when turning the television set in any direction.
Electric SupplyUse the television set only with the voltage indicated in the specifications. Ensure easy access to the plug for disconnection from the electricity supply. Do not disconnect by pulling the power cable; always hold the plug. The power cable must not be kinked or placed over sharp edges.
Moving the Television SetWhen moving the television set, hold only the casing.
Repairs/AccessoriesRepairs and servicing must be undertaken only by authorized and trained personnel.
Batteries DisposalIn accordance with the Batteries Regulation, batteries are to be disposed of only in provided containers.

CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK DO NOT OPEN

In extreme weather (storms, lightning) and during long inactivity periods (e.g., holidays), disconnect the TV set from the mains. The mains plug is used for disconnection and must remain readily operable. If the TV set is not electrically disconnected, it will still draw power even in standby mode or when switched off.

Important Warnings & Mounting Precautions

IMPORTANT - Please read these instructions fully before installing or operating.

WARNING: Never let people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge use electrical devices unsupervised.

  • The TV set is intended for outdoor and general use but may also be used in public places.
  • It is prohibited to enclose it in a sealed box or embed it in a wall.
  • Ventilation should not be impeded by covering or blocking the ventilation openings with items like newspapers, table-cloths, or curtains.
  • The power cord plug should be easily accessible.
  • Do not place the TV, furniture, etc., on the power cord.
  • A damaged power cord/plug can cause fire or give you an electric shock.
  • Handle the power cord by the plug; do not unplug the TV by pulling the power cord.
  • Never touch the power cord/plug with wet hands, as this could cause a short circuit or electric shock.
  • Never make a knot in the power cord or tie it with other cords.
  • When damaged, it must be replaced by qualified personnel only.

WARNING

  • Never place a television set in unstable or inclined locations. A television set may fall, causing serious personal injury or death.
  • Many injuries, particularly to children, can be avoided by taking simple precautions such as educating children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the television set or its controls.

WALL MOUNTING WARNINGS

  • Read the instructions before mounting your TV on the wall. Mounting Brackets are not supplied with the TV.
  • Do not install the TV on a ceiling or on an inclined wall.
  • Use the specified wall mounting screws and other accessories.
  • Tighten the wall mounting screws firmly to prevent the TV from falling. Do not over-tighten the screws.

Installation Guidelines

WARNING

  • Please install the television in a well-ventilated area.
  • It is prohibited to enclose it in a sealed box or embed it in a wall.
  • Do not rinse the TV from the bottom upwards, as this may damage the TV.
  • Avoid using in direct sunlight.

Fixed Wall Mount Installation

Warning - Please read before installation (Mounting Brackets are not supplied with TV)

Please thoroughly read instructions before attempting installation. This mount is suitable for 43"-75" Outdoor TVs. We advise that 2 people install the screen due to the heavy load. Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to hold the weight of the screen.

Step 1: Mounting Bracket to Wall

Fix the horizontal bracket into the wall with screws.

Step 2: Mounting bracket to TV

Fix the vertical bracket on the back of the TV with screws (M8).

Step 3: Mounting TV to Bracket

Attach TV with brackets on the wall.

VESA Standard Dimensions:

  • 55": 400 x 400 mm
  • 65": 400 x 400 mm
  • 75": 400 x 400 mm

Overview

The television features a waterproof panel on the back. Removing this panel reveals the connection ports.

Key Components:

  • ① REMOTE CONTROL SENSOR: Receives signals from the remote control.
  • ② POWER INDICATOR: Red light indicates standby mode.
  • ③ SPEAKER: Integrated audio output.
  • ④ POWER BUTTON: Press to toggle between normal operation and standby mode.

Connection Ports Diagram:

The TV includes various ports for connectivity:

  • RJ45: Ethernet connection.
  • OPTICAL OUT: Digital audio output.
  • TV: Connects to an external antenna for ATV/DTV programs.
  • HDMI1/2/3 (2.0/2.1/eARC): For HDMI signal input.
  • USB3.0 / USB2.0: For USB input.
  • MINI AV IN: For AV signal input.
  • Headset (EARPHONE OUT): Connecting for headphones.

The TV also supports connections for Intellinet feeder, Antenna feeder, Digital Audio System, Camcorder, DVD Player, PC (HDMI-output), and Blu-ray disc player.

Remote Control Unit

The remote control provides access to all TV functions:

  1. POWER: Turn the TV on and off.
  2. MUTE: Temporarily mute/unmute sound.
  3. Digital Buttons (0-9, -): Directly select channels.
  4. INPUT: Open the input source list.
  5. NETFLIX: Access Netflix app (requires network connection).
  6. YouTube: Access YouTube app (requires network connection).
  7. Disney+: Access Disney+ app (requires network connection).
  8. Prime Video: Access Prime Video app (requires network connection).
  9. Profile: Switch user profile.
  10. Google Assistant: Open Google Assistant.
  11. Settings: Access system settings.
  12. Arrow buttons (▲▼◄►): Navigate menus and change values.
  13. OK: Confirm selection.
  14. BACK: Return to the previous menu.
  15. Guide: Open Live TV EPG.
  16. HOME: Display the HOME page.
  17. VOL+/-: Adjust volume.
  18. CH/▼: Change channel up or down.
  19. INFO: Display channel information.
  20. Record Button: In DTV mode, record the TV program.
  21. APPS: Display the app list.
  22. LIST: Display the channel list.
  23. CC: Display CC function menu in TV/AV mode.
  24. Button: Open virtual keyboard in DTV source.
  25. MTS/AUDIO: Switch audio track or language.
  26. DIGITAL MEDIA PLAYER CONTROL BUTTONS: Playback controls (backward, forward, play/pause, stop) in USB mode.
  27. COLOR BUTTONS: Used in APPS.

General Description & External Connections

Installing Batteries in the Remote Control

1. Use the accessory screwdriver to remove the four screws of the battery cover and open it.

2. Insert two 1.5V AAA size batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Do not mix old and new batteries.

3. Lock the four screws on the battery box cover with the screwdriver.

Note: Point the remote towards the remote control sensor of the wireless TV and use it within 7 meters. Dispose of used batteries responsibly in a recycling bin.

Notes on Battery Use:

  • Battery life is approximately one year under normal use.
  • If not using the remote for a long period, remove batteries to prevent leakage.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries or different types.
  • Do not throw batteries into fire or water.
  • Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat.

External Connection - Antenna

The antenna input impedance is 75ohm. A VHF/UHF 75ohm coaxial cable can be connected directly. If using a 300ohm parallel flat feeder cable, a 300ohm/75ohm converter is required.

  • Antennas with 300ohm flat twin leads: Requires a 75ohm - 300ohm converter.
  • Antennas with 75ohm Round Leads: Connect directly with a 75ohm coaxial cable.

TV Operation & Setup

Initial Setup:

  1. Connect the TV to the power supply. The indicator light will be red after power-on. Press the power button on the remote or TV to turn it on.
  2. Pair the remote control with the TV. After successful pairing, the Bluetooth remote control can be used. (Press "Back" and "Home" on the BT remote simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode).
  3. Select the system language using the arrow keys and press OK to confirm.
  4. Choose to set up Google TV (requiring a Google account) or basic TV.
  5. Scan the setup code to download the Google Home app on your phone for setup, or use the remote to set up on the TV.
  6. Select your Wi-Fi network using the arrow keys, press OK, and enter the password to connect.
  7. Accept the Google Terms of Service to improve the product experience.
  8. Set your location (Country/Region).
  9. Set your Time Zone.
  10. Set Daylight Saving options.
  11. Set the Tuner mode (Cable + Antenna, Antenna, Cable, or Skip).
  12. Review your settings. After confirming OK, the TV is ready for use.

Home Screen & Input Source:

After setup, you will reach the Home Screen. The Home Screen displays favorite applications and allows access to Google Assistant or text search. The "Inputs" icon allows selection of the input source.

Navigating the On-Screen Menu:

In the HOME interface, use the arrow keys to select menu items and press OK to confirm. The settings menu can be accessed by selecting the gear icon.

Input Source Selection:

Under live TV, press the SOURCE button to display the list of input sources and select the desired one. Alternatively, navigate to the "Inputs" icon on the Home Screen.

Settings Menu:

Access system settings by navigating to the gear icon. Here you can configure:

  • Channels & Inputs: To add channels, go to Settings > Channels & Inputs > Channels, select signal type, and start Channel Scan. For Inputs, Consumer Electronic Control (CEC) allows operation of linked functions between compatible devices.
  • Display & Sound: Configure Picture and Sound settings.
  • Picture Settings: Options include Picture Mode (Standard, Movie, ECO, Vivid, Sports, Game), Screen Brightness, and Advanced Settings (Color Temperature, Noise Reduction, Picture Reset).
  • Sound Settings: Options include Sound Mode (Standard, Movie, Music, News, Personal), Dolby Atmos (On/Off), Audio Output device selection, and Digital Output Delay adjustment.
  • Network & Internet: Set up Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. The TV supports Wi-Fi scanning and can use a mobile hotspot. Data Saver reduces mobile data usage.
  • Accounts & sign-in: Manage your Google account and set up kids profiles for personalized experiences, app restrictions, and screen time limits.
  • Privacy: Configure privacy settings, including Location data collection, Usage & diagnostics reporting, Ads settings, and Google Assistant preferences.
  • Apps: Manage app settings, check details, and permissions.
  • System: Access various system configurations.
    • Accessibility: Features include screen reader (TalkBack), closed captions, Switch Access, high contrast text, and text-to-speech. Instructions are provided for enabling and configuring these features.
    • Reset: Restores the device to default settings, erasing all data.
    • Date & Time: Set automatic or manual date, time, and time zone.
    • Language: Select the on-screen display language (English, Español, Français).
    • Keyboard: Configure keyboard settings.
    • Storage: View internal shared and removable storage.
    • Ambient mode: Enables a digital photo frame feature using Google Photos.
    • Power & Energy: Configure power-on behavior.
    • Cast: Cast content from phones, tablets, or laptops to your Google TV.
    • Restart: Reboots the TV without affecting settings. A factory reset is available for deleting all settings.

Remotes & Accessories

You can connect Bluetooth devices like headphones or game controllers. Only one audio device can be connected at a time.

Pairing a Bluetooth Device:

  1. From the Google TV home screen, go to Settings > Remote & Accessories > Pair accessory.
  2. Ensure your device is in pairing mode.
  3. Select the device from the list and pair it.

Reconnect a Paired Device:

  1. Go to Settings > Remote & Accessories.
  2. Under "ACCESSORIES", choose your device and select Connect.

Troubleshooting Bluetooth Connection Issues:

  • Turn the Bluetooth device off and on again.
  • Disconnect other paired devices if multiple are connected.
  • Unplug the TV for 10 seconds and plug it back in.
  • Check if the Bluetooth device connects to other devices. If it does, reset your Google TV to factory settings. If not, check the Bluetooth device's software or contact the manufacturer.

Read Before Using Apps

  • Unstable internet connections may cause delays or interruptions. Applications may terminate automatically.

  • Some applications may not support multitasking based on third-party policies.
  • Response times and screen display may be delayed during webpage loading. Copy and paste operations are not supported.
  • Web browsing speed depends on the network environment.
  • Playback of certain video/audio files may not be possible depending on supported codecs.
  • The app store has limitations; users cannot add apps from other media.

Troubleshooting

Check the following solutions for common symptoms:

No pictureCheck antenna connection. Tune to another station. Adjust contrast and brightness settings.
Good picture but no soundIncrease volume. Check if TV is muted. Check sound settings. Ensure external devices are not off or too low. Verify AV/Component cable connections. If using DVI to HDMI, an audio cable is required. Ensure headphone jack is not connected.
Good sound but abnormal color or no pictureCheck antenna connection and condition. For Component input, check connections. Loose connections can cause color problems or a blank screen.
No response to remote controlCheck remote control batteries. Clean the remote control lens. Ensure distance is within 8m and path is clear.
Colored dots may be present on the screenThis is a structural property of LED screens (high precision technology) and not a malfunction. Black dots or bright points may appear.
Picture is breaking upKeep TV away from noisy electrical sources. Electrical interference (e.g., lightning) may cause issues. Ensure space between optional equipment and TV. Check antenna and connection. Keep antenna away from power/output cables.
After Auto Tuning only some channels are availableCheck if your area is covered by Digital Video Broadcasts. Try re-tuning or manually tuning. Ensure correct antenna type is used.
Channel cannot be selectedCheck if the channel is blocked in the main menu settings.
USB not playingCheck USB cable and power supply. Ensure the hard drive is formatted (FAT32 recommended) and supports multimedia formats.
Picture is distorted, macroblock, small block, dots, pixelization, etcCompression of video content, especially on fast-moving pictures, can cause distortion.
Noise from speakerCheck cable connections. Low signal level may cause sound distortion.
TV turns off automaticallyCheck if the Off Timer or Sleep Timer is enabled in Setup. TV turns off if no signal for ~10 minutes.
TV turns on automaticallyCheck if the On Timer is set to On in the Setup menu.
Picture is not shown in full screenBlack bars may appear on HD channels displaying SD (4:3) content or on movies with different aspect ratios. Adjust picture size on the external device or TV.

WARNING

Never place a television set in an unstable location, as it may fall, causing serious personal injury or death. Take precautions, especially for children, such as using recommended furniture, ensuring the TV is not overhanging, anchoring furniture, and educating children about climbing dangers.

The plug or appliance coupler serves as the disconnect device and must remain readily operable.

FCC Warning

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) it may not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must accept any interference received. Changes not expressly approved by the responsible party could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits for an uncontrolled environment. It should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and your body.

(1) Returning an Item:

  • Only items purchased directly from www.sylvoxtv.com and authorized resellers can be returned.
  • Returns from unauthorized third-party suppliers are not accepted.
  • Contact the original vendor with order ID or proof of purchase and product issue details at service@sylvoxtv.com to request a return/refund/repair/replace. Sylvox will provide a shipping label.
  • For direct Sylvox purchases, return shipping costs for quality issues are covered. For retailer purchases, contact the retailer.
  • Sylvox may charge a 20% restocking fee for returns without reason after installation and use (within 7 days of arrival; customer responsible for freight costs).
  • Ensure returned items are in original packaging with all documentation and accessories.
  • Deductions will be made for items not in original packaging or with artificial damage affecting resale.
  • Requests are handled upon receipt of the returned item.

(2) How to Return for a Refund (30-day money-back guarantee):

Contact Sylvox at service@sylvoxtv.com to submit an after-sales application. Provide original order number or proof of purchase. Item must be returned within 30 days in original packaging. Refunds are issued upon receipt.

(3) Refunds:

Refunds are initiated upon verification of product condition. For credit/debit cards, refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to the card-issuing bank.

(4) What the Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Improper use or repair by the user.
  • Damage caused by transportation, moving, or falling after purchase.
  • Unavoidable external factors.
  • Improper use due to water or other solutions.
  • Failure caused by lightning strikes or other electrical system reasons.
  • Damage caused by using power supply other than specified voltage.

Warranty Period:

Sylvox repairs the TV free of charge under normal use of the instruction manual within 12 months. Sylvox warrants the product against defects in material and workmanship.

Conditions for Correction of Defects:

  • Defects caused by abusive operation, negligence, accident, shipment damages, improper delivery/installation, or unintended use.
  • Defects caused by tampering, modification, adjustment, or repair by unauthorized personnel.
  • Replacement of accessories, consumables, or peripheral items required through normal use (e.g., earphones, remote controls, batteries).
  • Cosmetic damage to the surface or exterior due to normal wear and tear, improper handling, or chemical cleaning agents.
  • Defects caused by external or environmental conditions (incorrect voltage, surges, liquid spillage, acts of nature).
  • Warranty claims for products returned with altered, illegible, or missing model/serial numbers.
  • Products used for rental, business, or commercial purposes.
  • Installation, consumer instruction, delivery, setup, adjustment, or programming charges.
  • Products not installed following installation instructions.
  • Signal reception problems, image burn-in, signal noise/echo, interference, or issues with third-party services/content.

No other entity is authorized to extend this warranty. Sylvox disclaims all other warranties, express or implied. Some states may not allow limitations on incidental or consequential damages.
