  • Choking hazard: Small parts. Keep away from children under the age of 3 years.
  • Keep new and used batteries away from children. Ingestion or insertion into the body may cause chemical burns, perforation of soft tissues, and death. Severe burns may occur within 2 hours of swallowing. If you think a battery might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek medical attention immediately.
  • If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. Contact Roche.

Overview of Wireless Adapter

The ACCU-CHEK Mobile Wireless Adapter is designed to connect your ACCU-CHEK Mobile meter to a compatible device for data transfer.

Attaching the Wireless Adapter

Follow these steps to attach the wireless adapter to your ACCU-CHEK Mobile meter:

  1. Slide the wireless adapter onto the ACCU-CHEK Mobile meter until it clicks into place.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover on the adapter.
  3. Insert a CR 1632 battery into the compartment, observing correct polarity.

Pairing the Wireless Adapter

Pair the wireless adapter with your ACCU-CHEK Mobile meter for the first time:

  1. Turn the wireless adapter ON.
  2. Hold the adapter near the ACCU-CHEK Mobile meter.
  3. The meter will display a pairing code.
  4. Ensure the code on the adapter matches the code on the meter.
  5. Confirm the pairing on both devices. A successful pairing is indicated by a checkmark ✔️.
  6. Keep the adapter within 1 meter (3.3 feet) of the meter during operation.

Transferring Test Results

Transfer your blood glucose test results wirelessly:

  1. Ensure the wireless adapter is ON and the meter is ON.
  2. Hold the adapter within 1 meter (3.3 feet) of the meter.
  3. The meter will display your test results (e.g., 106 mg/dL / 5.8 mmol/L).
  4. The adapter's indicator light will blink during data transfer.
  5. A confirmation message will appear on the meter indicating successful data transfer.

Replacing the Battery

The wireless adapter uses one CR 1632 battery:

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the wireless adapter.
  2. Remove the old battery.
  3. Insert a new CR 1632 battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues:

  1. Ensure the adapter and meter are within the recommended range (less than 1 meter).
  2. Try turning the adapter OFF and then ON again.
  3. If problems persist, consult the full manual or contact customer support. A question mark ❓ may indicate a need for support.
