Buttons and Ports Labeled/Operation Explained
The FiiO BTR3 features a compact design with several key components:A 3.5mm headphone port is located on one side.On the opposite side, there is a Type C USB charging port and a lanyard hole.The device includes a clip for attachment.On the front face, a Status indicator light is visible, along with the FiiO logo and a microphone.Below these, an NFC detecting area is marked.The side panel features three control buttons:Button A: Multifunctional button.Button B: Volume up / Previous track.Button C: Volume down / Next track.
Functions & Operations
- Power on/off: Hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the blue light flashes three times. The device will then power on or off.
- Reset: Hold the Power button for approximately 10 seconds at any time to reset the device.
- USB DAC mode: This mode can be switched between Manual and Auto modes via the companion App.
- Auto mode: Connect the device to a computer and select it as the audio output device to play music. The white indicator light will stay steadily on.
- Manual mode: Connect the device to a computer, then click the power button three times. The white indicator light will stay steadily on.

- Enter pairing mode:
- Upon first power-on, the device automatically enters pairing mode, indicated by alternating red and blue light flashes.
- To manually force pairing mode, hold button A for about 5 seconds when the device is on. The red and blue lights will flash alternately.
- To clear current pairing, hold buttons B and C simultaneously for about 5 seconds when the device is on.
- The BTR3 supports connecting with two devices concurrently.
- Enter reconnecting mode:
- After disconnection, the blue light flashes twice every two seconds. Click button A to reconnect.
- After the device restarts, it will automatically reconnect to the last connected device.
Operation Instructions After Successful Pairing
- Play/Pause/Answer phone call/End calling/Cancel a call: Click button A.
- Reject phone call: Hold button A for about 2 seconds when there is an incoming call.
- Volume up/down: Click button B to turn the volume up or click button C to turn it down.
- Switch songs: Hold button B for about 2 seconds to switch to the previous song, or hold button C for about 2 seconds to switch to the next song.
- Switch between input devices: When paired with two devices via Bluetooth, input modes (Manual/Auto) can be switched via the App.
- Auto mode: It is required to pause one device and start the other manually.
- Manual mode: Double-click the power button to switch between devices.
- Activate Siri: Double-click button A.
One-touch NFC Pairing
When the BTR3 is powered on and the Android device is unlocked with NFC enabled, touch the NFC detecting area of both devices together to start the pairing process.

Notification Sounds
Notification sounds are provided for the following statuses: Power on, power off, pair, connect, clear pairing history, maximum volume, low battery warning, and pairing disconnected.
Notes and Precautions
- ⭐ It is recommended to charge the device using a standard 5V charger.
- ⭐ Please do not place the device in environments with excessive high/low temperatures (above 45°C or below 0°C).
- ⭐ Please keep the device away from liquids to avoid any damage.
- ⭐ If the device is to be left unused for a long time, please recharge it periodically to preserve its battery life.
- ⭐ Please adjust the volume to a suitable level before putting on earphones to protect your hearing.
- ⭐ Please do not disassemble, damage the battery, or drop it into fire. It is prohibited to continue using the device after the battery has been soaked in water.
