Quick Start Guide
Buttons and Ports Labeled/Operation Explained
The FiiO BTR1K features several ports and buttons for operation:
- 3.5mm headphone port: For connecting headphones.
- Lanyard hole: For attaching a lanyard.
- Clip: For attaching the device to clothing.
- Type C USB charging port: For charging the device.
- NFC detecting area: For NFC pairing.
- RGB indicator light: Provides visual feedback on device status.
Buttons are labeled A, B, C, and D in the diagram. (Specific functions are detailed in the Operations section).
Functions & Operations
Power on/off
Hold button A for approximately 3 seconds until the blue light flashes three times. The device will then power on or off.
Reset
Hold button A for approximately 10 seconds at any time to reset the device.
USB DAC mode
Turn on the device and connect it to your computer. Select the device as the audio output to play music.
Firmware upgrade

Enter pairing mode
- Automatic Pairing: After powering on for the first time, the device automatically enters pairing mode, indicated by alternating red and blue lights.
- Force Pairing: Hold button B for approximately 5 seconds when the device is on. The red and blue lights will flash alternately.
- Clear Current Pairing: Hold buttons C and D simultaneously for approximately 5 seconds when the device is on.
The BTR1K supports connecting with two devices simultaneously.
Enter reconnecting mode
- After Disconnection: The blue light flashes twice every two seconds. Click button B to reconnect.
- Automatic Reconnection: After the device restarts, it will automatically reconnect to the last connected device.
Operation after successful pairing
- Play/Pause/Answer phone call/End calling/Cancel a call: Click button B.
- Reject phone call: Hold button B for approximately 2 seconds when there is an incoming call.
- Volume up/down: Click button C/D to adjust the volume.
- Switch songs: Hold button C/D for approximately 2 seconds to switch to the previous/next song.
- Switch input devices: When connected to two input devices, double-click button A to switch between them.
- Activate Siri: Double-click button B.
One-touch NFC pairing
When the BTR1K is on and your Android device is unlocked with NFC enabled, touch the two devices together using their NFC detecting areas to start pairing.

Notification Sounds
Notification sounds are provided for the following statuses: Power on, power off, pair, connect, clear pairing history, low battery warning, Max./Min. volume, and pairing disconnected.
Notes and Precautions
- It is recommended to charge the device using a standard 5V charger.
- Do not place the device in circumstances of excessive high/low temperature (above 45°C or below 0°C).
- Please keep the device away from liquids to avoid any damage.
- If the device is to be left unused for a long time, recharge it periodically to preserve its battery life.
- Please adjust the volume to a suitable level before putting on earphones to protect your hearing.
- Do not disassemble, damage the battery, or drop it into fire. It is prohibited to continue using the device after the battery has been soaked in water.
