Rockville RTB Series Wiring Guide

This document provides a wiring guide for the Rockville RTB Series High Power Vented Tubular Enclosures.

RTB65A Features

Wiring Diagram for RTB65A

Ground Connection: Connect to the ground terminal.

Power Connection: Connect to the positive (+) terminal of the battery.

Remote Connection: Connect to the remote output of the head unit.

High Level Input

High Level inputs, also referred to as speaker level inputs, allow connection when RCA outputs are unavailable on the receiver, common with stock head units. Signal from rear speakers connects here.

RCA/MP3 Input

Connect from any device with a 3.5mm output. Use either High Level inputs, RCA input, or 3.5mm input. Never use all three.

Troubleshooting

PROBLEM SOLUTION
No power 1. Check ground, power, and remote connections.
2. Check fuse.
3. Check head unit (remote voltage).
No Sound 1. Check all input connections (RCAs/high level inputs).
2. Check ground, power, and remote connections.
3. Check head unit (settings/connections).
Output sounds distorted 1. Check gain settings.
2. Check bass boost settings.
3. Check head unit (settings/connections).
