Warnings
- This charger is designed exclusively for Cylindrical lithium-ion and NI-MH batteries. Lithium iron phosphate batteries are not supported.
- Please read these instructions carefully before use. Pay close attention to the recommended battery charging current and do not exceed it.
- Do not use any other power adapter.
- A slight increase in temperature during charging and discharging is normal.
- Always unplug the power and remove the batteries when you stop using the charger.
- This device is intended for indoor use only.
- The product's measured data is for reference purposes only.
Features
- Four adjustable charging current regulators: 300mA, 500mA, 700mA, 1000mA.
- Supports simultaneous charging of batteries with different specifications (e.g., 18650, 26650, AA, AAA).
- Features an independent LED screen that clearly displays voltage, current, time, capacity, and internal resistance parameters for each battery.
- In CHARGE mode, each channel operates independently, allowing selection of different currents and battery types (Lithium-ion and NI-MH).
- FAST TEST mode quickly detects battery capacity using four channels. Lithium-ion and NI-MH batteries can be tested independently. This mode involves two processes: discharging and then charging to full capacity.
- NOR TEST mode detects battery capacity through three steps: charging fully, discharging, and then charging fully again.
- CHARGE, FAST TEST, and NOR TEST modes can operate simultaneously, allowing independent charging, quick capacity detection, or normal capacity detection.
- Includes a series of protection functions: over-charging, over-discharging, short circuit, activation for batteries with 0V, charging between 1.65V-2.2V, intelligent detection of bad batteries, and protection against reversed batteries.
- Offers a standard USB 5V/1000mA output function, supporting output from one to four lithium batteries. NI-MH batteries cannot be used for USB output.
- Equipped with a specialized power adapter. DC input voltage: 12V/2A.
Button Description
- There are six user-friendly buttons: 'MODE' for mode selection, 'CURRENT' for current selection, and '1234' for independent channel selection and data checking.
- To change modes (CHARGE, FAST TEST, or NOR TEST), press and hold the 'MODE' button for three seconds. Within eight seconds, press the corresponding function selection button again to change current, capacity detection, mixed charging, or independent charging. The selected function will become active after eight seconds. During operation, pressing the '1234' keys allows viewing Current (mA), Capacity (mAh), Voltage (V), Time (h), and Internal Resistance.
Mode Operation Description
CHARGE MODE
- Upon powering on, the LED display illuminates. If no battery is inserted or if a battery is faulty, 'Null' will be displayed.
- When batteries are inserted and connected to power, the charger measures internal resistance within three seconds and automatically enters charge mode. The default charging current is 500mA. Within eight seconds, you can select a charging current of 300mA, 500mA, 700mA, or 1000mA using the 'CURRENT' button. The system locks the selected current after eight seconds. If no selection is made, it defaults to 500mA.
- If you need to change the current selection after the initial eight seconds, you can press the change mode key for several seconds to re-select.
- In CHARGE mode, you can adjust independent charging, select different currents, and manage different batteries within eight seconds. Press the '1234' key first, then the 'MODE' key, and finally the 'CURRENT' key within eight seconds to change current, independent charging, mixed charging, and capacity detection settings. After selection, it enters the working state. It is recommended to choose a charging current appropriate for the battery capacity. For safety and longevity, charging with 500mA is recommended if speed is not critical.
- In charging mode, pressing the '1234' key allows you to view charging capacity (mAh), charging time (h), battery internal resistance (mR), charging current (mA), and voltage (V). When a battery is fully charged, the LED display shows 'END'.
FAST TEST/NOR TEST (Capacity Detection Mode)
Fast Test
When the charger is powered on, wait 8 seconds, then use the 'MODE' button to select 'TEST FAST' (Fast Test mode). Subsequently, press the 'CURRENT' button to select the desired current. The system will lock the chosen setting in 8 seconds.
The Fast Test process is illustrated as follows: Into FAST TEST ➡️ Choose Current ➡️ Battery Discharging ➡️ Charging Again.
How to Detect Battery Capacity
- Discharge the battery.
- Charge the battery fully and record the capacity.
Note: In capacity detection mode, the discharge current is determined by the selected charging current:
- If the charging current is 300mA or 500mA, the discharging current is automatically set to 250mA.
- If the charging current is 700mA or 1000mA, the discharging current is automatically set to 500mA.
Nor Test
To enter Nor Test mode: Connect the charger to power with batteries inserted, then press the 'MODE' key within two seconds.
In NOR TEST mode, you can select a charging current of 300mA, 500mA, 700mA, or 1000mA using the 'CURRENT' key within eight seconds. The system locks the selected current after eight seconds. If no selection is made, it defaults to 500mA for charging. For discharging, it automatically selects 250mA if 500mA was chosen for charging, or 500mA if 700mA or 1000mA was chosen for charging.
When the battery is fully charged, the system automatically switches to discharge mode with the default discharging current. The recorded discharging data is used to determine battery capacity. The 'END' indicator on the screen signifies the completion of the detection mode, displaying the actual capacity reference value.
After capacity detection is finished, the charger will resume charging the battery with the selected parameters until it is fully charged.
USB 5V OUTPUT
- The USB port functions as a 5V mobile output with a 1000mA current. This output is invalid when the charger is connected to its own power supply.
- When batteries are inserted into the charger, the USB 5V output is activated, enabling it to charge 5V electronic products.
- Any of the four battery slots can be used for USB output; however, using two slots is recommended for optimal performance.
- The 5V USB output is exclusively for 3.7V lithium batteries and is not compatible with Ni-MH batteries.
