Description of Touch Functions
The charger features four touch buttons:
- Mode Selection Button
- Channel 1-2 Button
- Channel 3-4 Button
- Current Button
Information is displayed on the LCD screen.
The available modes are: Charging, Discharging, Capacity Testing, and Battery Storage.
To switch modes: Hold down the mode button. First, gently press the 1-2 or 3-4 buttons to select the channel, then hold the mode button to select the desired setting.
Touch buttons 1-2 correspond to channels 1 and 2. Touch buttons 3-4 correspond to channels 3 and 4.
Current levels available: 300mA, 500mA, 700mA, 1000mA.
In operating status, a gentle press of buttons (1-2, 3-4) displays the corresponding current (MA), capacity (MAH), voltage (V), time (H), and other reference values for each channel.
Operating Modes Description
1. Charger Activation
Upon activation, the LCD display will show relevant information.
If no battery is inserted, "null" will be displayed.
If batteries are not needed or are faulty, the display may show "Err".
2. Charging Mode
After turning on the charger and connecting batteries, the system automatically switches to charging mode.
The default charging current is 500mA.
Within 8 seconds of starting charging, the charging current can be adjusted to 300mA, 500mA, 700mA, or 1000mA by touching the corresponding touch point. This setting will lock after 8 seconds.
During this 8-second window, current or other settings cannot be changed.
Important Note: Ensure you are using the correct battery type and voltage for charging.
3. Discharge Mode
To enter discharge mode, press and hold the "mode" button for 8 seconds.
Then, touch the current button to select the desired discharge voltage (250mA or 500mA).
The selected mode will lock after 8 seconds.
If no voltage is selected, the system will automatically start discharging at 500mA.
During discharge, the system records data for controlling battery discharge capacity.
4. Test Mode (Capacity Testing)
This mode performs a full charging and discharging cycle to measure battery capacity.
After the process, the measured capacity will be displayed.
To enter test mode: In any state, hold down the mode touch button, then briefly press to select the operating mode.
After the test is completed, the temperature is adjusted for 8 seconds. The discharge current is set to 300mA / 500mA / 700mA / 1000mA. After 8 seconds, the current system will shut down. If no further settings are made, the system will automatically charge with the default current of 500mA.
The system will not recharge a battery before it is fully discharged. After automatic system installation, verification is required. The discharge current can be 250mA or 500mA depending on the charging current. The system determines the quality and parameters accordingly.
Once a battery is replaced, the system will automatically reconfigure and recharge it. The system configuration and parameters are set accordingly. Upon full charge, a final note will appear, and the system will display "konec" (end), stopping the charging parameters. This concludes the operation.
After the testing process, the LCD display shows the tested parameters.
Reference Information:
- If 700mA or 1000mA is selected for charging, a maximum of two channels can be charged. If more than two channels are activated, the system automatically reduces the charging current from 700mA or 1000mA to 500mA.
- In test mode, when testing for 500mA / 700mA / 1000mA, it is tested at 500mA. Charging current is 300mA and discharge current is 250mA.
5. Storage Mode
This mode is for storing lithium-ion batteries at 3.7V.
To enter storage mode: Hold down the mode touch button in any state and briefly press it.
This function is limited to lithium batteries with a voltage of 3.7V (3.6V). Ni-MH batteries are not supported.
In storage mode, lithium batteries with a voltage higher than 3.7V are discharged until the voltage drops to 3.7V. Lithium batteries with a voltage lower than 3.7V are charged until the voltage reaches 3.7V. The entire process is automatically tested and monitored by the system.
