Bormann Elite Solar LED Floodlights
User Manual and Technical Specifications
I. Operation Mode
The Bormann Elite Solar LED Floodlights are available in models ranging from 50W to 400W.
- Solar Charging Time: 5-8 hours, depending on location and temperature.
- Discharge Mode: The light operates with decreasing brightness over time: 100% in the first hour, 80% in the second, 60% in the third, 50% in the fourth, and 30% in the fifth to sixth hour. It remains on until dawn, then switches to charging mode.
- Operating Time Options: 3H, 5H, 8H.
- Brightness Adjustment Mode: Controlled via the remote control.
- Recommended Mode: Automatic mode "AUTO" for best results.
- Default Mode: Automatic mode is selected by default when the device is switched on.
- Automatic Mode Function: The lamp's brightness adapts automatically based on the battery's power level.

The solar floodlight setup includes the following components:

II. Important Safety Information
- Do not dispose of the battery in fire, as this may result in an explosion.
- Do not expose the light to fire or intense heat, as the battery may explode.
- Do not immerse the unit in water.
- Never look directly into the light or shine it into another person's eyes.
- Consult your local construction guide if necessary for installing the light fixture in a building.
III. Fixing Instructions
- The light fixture must be installed on a flat and stable surface.
- Avoid installing the light near air conditioners, central heaters, or high-voltage systems.
- Position the solar charger board in a sunny area to maximize sunlight collection. Typically, the solar board should face south, receiving at least 3 hours of sunlight daily (5 hours if behind glass).
- It is recommended to charge the light for 24 hours before its first use.
- Periodically (at least once a year), clean the charger board with a soft, damp cloth to prevent reduced power output due to accumulated dust.
IV. Installation
Follow these steps for installation:
- Fix the bracket of the solar panel. (Diagram shows bracket being attached to a surface.)

- Fix the lamp body to the bracket. (Diagram shows lamp body being attached to the bracket.)

- Connect the wire of the solar panel to the wire of the lamp. (Diagram shows wire connection.)
V. Remote Control Introduction
The remote control allows for various lighting adjustments:
- [ON]: Turn on the light.
- [OFF]: Turn off the light.
- [M] (Brightness Control): Full brightness, Increase brightness, Reduce brightness, Half brightness.
- Automatic Night Activation: The light turns on automatically at night via light control.
- Timer Functions:
- Turn on after dark, automatically close after 3 hours.
- Turn on after dark, automatically close after 5 hours.
- Turn on after dark, automatically close after 8 hours.

Note 1: Alternative/Newer remote control version: Press the key "AUTO/WAKE UP" to activate the lamp before the first time use.
Note 2: Keys "3H", "5H", "8H" can have a different layout.

Manufacturer Information and Warranty

For safety, reliability, and warranty validity, all repair, inspection, or replacement work must be carried out by authorized service technicians. Always use supplied equipment; non-provided equipment may cause malfunctions or injury. The manufacturer and importer are not liable for injuries or damages from non-conforming equipment.
The warranty covers free replacement of components with manufacturing defects or material failure. In case of unavailability of a spare part, the company may replace the appliance with a corresponding model. Warranty period is not extended or renewed after replacement. Replacement parts with repair charges are covered by a 1-year warranty, provided warranty terms are met. Replaced parts remain company property. Greek law applies to this warranty.
