Installation Steps
Step A: Fixture Placement
Insert the luminaire into the prepared ground or mounting surface. The fixture has a diameter of approximately Ø37mm or Ø45mm, requiring a depth of more than 55mm or 82mm respectively.
Visual Description: Arrows indicate the downward insertion of the cylindrical fixture into the ground. Dimensions are shown.
Step B: Electrical Connection & Protection
Connect the electrical components. The fixture is rated IP65, providing protection against dust and water jets. Note: A Junction Box is not included. The fixture is designed to withstand a load of up to 500kgs.
Visual Description: Shows the fixture with electrical terminals, the IP65 symbol, and the ≤500kgs symbol. Arrows indicate connection points. A reference to "Paulmann Art.-Nr.: 232" is shown, likely for an accessory tool.
Step C: Cable Management
Route the power cable through the designated entry point. This fixture is suitable for rubber cables with a diameter ranging from 6mm to 12mm. Specific dimensions for the entry point are indicated as 7mm and 14mm.
Visual Description: Depicts the cable entry point with dimensions and the cable being fed through.
Step D: Series Connection
Connect multiple luminaires in series to a 230V power source. Ensure correct polarity and secure connections for proper operation. The diagram shows an "on" state for the connected lights.
Visual Description: Illustrates a series of lights connected to a 230V power supply, with indicators showing the "on" status.
Step E: Cable Bending Radius
Ensure the minimum bending diameter of the rubber cable is 60mm. Bending the cable to a diameter less than 60mm may cause damage.
Visual Description: Shows a diagram with "min. Ø60mm" and a cross (❌) over "<Ø60mm", indicating the minimum safe bending radius.
Energy Efficiency and Component Replaceability
This product contains a light source with an energy efficiency class, as indicated by labels such as A++ to G.
Component Replaceability
The following guidelines apply to the replaceability of components:
- Light source (1) or operating device (4): Can be replaced by end-users without permanent damage to the luminaire.
- Light source (2) or operating device (5): Can be replaced by a qualified electrician without permanent damage to the luminaire.
- Light source (3) or operating device (6): Cannot be replaced; the entire luminaire must be replaced.
