Safety Instructions

Installation Guide

Follow these steps for installation:

1. Step A: Mounting Bracket Installation

   Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate fixings. Ensure it is securely fastened.

2. Step B: Electrical Connection

   Connect the electrical wires. This typically involves connecting the live (L), neutral (N), and earth (PE) wires to the corresponding terminals.

3. Step C: Securing Luminaire to Bracket

   Align the luminaire body with the mounting bracket and secure it in place.

4. Step D: Attaching Diffuser/Cover

   Carefully attach the diffuser or cover to the luminaire body.

5. Step E: Internal Wiring Check

   Ensure all internal wiring connections are secure and correctly made.

6. Step F: Dimensions and Power Connection

   Note mounting dimensions (e.g., 7mm, 14mm clearance). Connect the luminaire to the 230V power supply.

7. Step G: Final Securing

   Use screws to firmly secure the luminaire to the mounting surface.

8. Step H: Luminaire Attachment

   Screw the luminaire onto the mounting surface.

9. Step I: Final Installation and IP Rating

   Complete the installation. The luminaire is rated IP65, offering protection against dust and water jets.

Replaceability of Components

Regarding the replacement of components:

• The light source or operating device can be replaced by end users without permanent damage to the luminaire.
• The light source or operating device can be replaced by a qualified electrician without permanently damaging the luminaire.
• The light source or operating device is not replaceable; the luminaire must be replaced.

Disposal Information

Old electrical appliances must not be disposed of with household waste. They can be handed in at public collection points for waste disposal. Old batteries and rechargeable batteries, as well as lamps that can be removed from the old appliance without destroying them, must be separated from the old appliance before being handed in at a collection point.
