Installation Steps
Step 1: Turn OFF the power and remove the old thermostat
Before removing the old thermostat, take a picture of its wiring for reference. Ensure mains power is switched off.
Step 2: Prepare Receiver Box for installation
Find a suitable location near the boiler. Loosen the front screw to remove the cover. The Receiver Box requires 230V power.
Needed during installation:
- Cable with 2 wires from the Receiver Box (R4H810A) to the thermostat.
- Cable with 2 wires from the boiler to the Receiver Box.
Step 3: Install the Receiver Box
Refer to the wiring diagrams for specific connections.
A) Wall box or Rear Wiring: Hinge open the terminal block flap to access cables and wall box screw holes.
B) Surface wiring: Use cable clamps to secure the surface wiring (max 6 mm diameter, min 0.25mm², max 1.5mm²).
C) Replace the cover: Locate hinges at the top of the cover and wall plate, close the cover, and secure with the screw.
Step 4: Install the T6 thermostat
Remember to use the same wires connected to the Receiver Box when connecting to the thermostat.
A) Using a screwdriver: Open the wallplate terminal cover to connect wires.
B) Connect wires: Connect the 2 thermostat wires to the 'T' and 'T' terminals and close the cover.
C) Attach thermostat: Attach the thermostat to the wallplate when finished.
Step 5: Complete installation
Turn ON mains power to the heating appliance and Receiver Box. After powering up both devices, the green LED should be on.
After power up: 'SETUP' is displayed on the thermostat's screen. Push the button to check if the boiler switches on. The button lights green.
