1. Proper Use of the Device

The foot-operated air pump is designed for inflating car, motorcycle, and bicycle tires, as well as for filling air beds, rubber boats, and swimming toys. This device is not intended for use by children or persons with limited mental abilities or without the required specialist knowledge. Keep children away from the device. The device is not intended for commercial use. Proper use includes observing all information in these instructions, especially safety precautions. Any other use is considered improper and may lead to material damage or personal injury. EAL GmbH assumes no liability for damage resulting from improper use.

4. Safety Notes

5. Observe the pressure limits permitted by the manufacturer of the tires and other objects.

5. Operating Instructions

Place the foot pump on a level and stable surface. Press the foot lever down fully and release the securing hook. Select the appropriate adapter for your needs. For pumping car or motorcycle tires, no adapters are needed. For other applications, insert the adapter into the valve connection and lock it by activating the lever. For car or motorcycle tires, plug the valve connection directly onto the valve and lock by activating the lever. Ensure the hose is not crushed or kinked. Observe the maximum permitted pressure of the tire or object to be filled. Set this maximum pressure by rotating the manometer disk on your foot pump. To pump, operate the foot lever slowly and evenly, pressing it down fully and allowing it to rise fully. The current pressure can be read on the manometer. Stop pumping when you have achieved the set maximum pressure. CAUTION! When releasing the valve connection, the valve connection and the valve may be hot. After pumping car or motorcycle tires, always check the air pressure with a suitable tire pressure tester. To store, press the foot lever down fully and engage the securing hook.

6. Maintenance

Cleaning: Clean the foot pump only with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents. Lubrication: Lubricate the joints of the foot pump with a drop of bicycle oil. Storage: When not in use, store the foot pump in a dry place. Do not expose the foot pump to moisture, oil, dust, dirt, high temperatures, strong vibrations, or mechanical loads.

7. Notes for Environmental Protection

Dispose of this device via recycling facilities or public/communal collection points. The materials are recyclable. By recycling, material recovery, or other forms of reuse of old devices, you make an important contribution to the protection of our environment!
