5.2 Preparation
Before using the wheel stopper set, remove the standard wheel stoppers from your bicycle rack. Follow these steps:
- Remove bicycles from the bicycle rack.
- Release the knurled nut from the standard wheel stopper.
- Push the wheel stopper towards the inner end of the wheel rail and use it to push the end cap out of the wheel rail.
- Pull the wheel stopper out of the wheel rail.
5.3 Mounting the Wheel Stoppers
For the new wide tire wheel stoppers, the center of the bicycle tire is offset by approximately 1 cm towards the center of the wheel rail. Insert the new wheel stopper with the guiding ridge (Position 3 in the overview) into the wheel rail so that the bicycle tire is positioned away from the carry handle. See Figure 2.
Mount the wheel stopper for the other half of the wheel rail accordingly. Replace the end caps.
[Image 2: Diagram showing the offset of the wheel stopper]
If you wish to use a wide tire wheel stopper set on another rail of the bicycle rack, it must be mounted accordingly. This means the wheel stoppers must be mounted so that the bicycle wheel is fastened away from the carry handle.
CAUTION The wheel stoppers must always be located between the wheels of the bicycle, never in front of or behind them.
5.4 Fastening the Tires
Press the unlocking lever (Position 5 in the Overview) upwards, Figure 3. You can now pull the tensioning belt (Position 6 in the overview) from the turnbuckle (Position 4 in the overview). Place the bicycle on the bicycle rack and fasten it with the frame holder according to your bicycle rack's instructions. Push the wheel stoppers up to the bicycle tires and tighten the knurled nuts.
Place the tensioning belt around the bicycle's rim and insert the tensioning belt into the turnbuckle. Position the rim protector (Position 7 in the overview) so that the tensioning belt cannot damage the rim through friction during transport, Figure 4. The tensioning belt can be tightened by pulling the turnbuckle upwards several times.

6. Maintenance and Care
When used as directed, the wheel stopper requires no maintenance. Clean the wheel stopper only with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or those containing solvents. For heavy soiling, use a brush and water to clean the teeth of the tensioning belt to ensure the flawless functioning of the turnbuckle.
7. Notes Regarding Environmental Protection
Please dispose of the wheel stoppers via the recycling bin or public/municipal collection points. The materials are recyclable. By recycling, material recovery, or other forms of reuse of used equipment, you make an important contribution to protecting our environment!
