Introduction
This Quick Start Guide will help you install and adjust the camera properly. For further support and to download the complete user manual, please visit: https://furrion.com/pages/observation-camera-system.
Preparation
- Ensure all items in your package match those shown in the 'What's in the box' section on the packaging box.
- Before installation, read and understand all important safety-related instructions from the online user manual.
- Prepare tools: #1 and #2 Phillips head screwdriver, sealant, insulation tape, pencil, and/or a 5/8" hole saw (if drilling a new hole).
Mount Bracket
Note: Skip this section if your RV is pre-installed with a bracket for camera installation.
IMPORTANT: Before any installation and wiring operation, remove the key from the ignition and isolate the 12V/24V power source.
Note: Rated maximum wireless range is less than 50 feet (15m) at high speeds. Distance is measured from the front dash of the tow vehicle to the rear of the trailer. The rear camera must be within 50 feet of the monitor for a proper wireless connection. RVs (Class A, B, or C) exceeding this distance may experience latency and connection issues.
Always seek professional assistance if unsure about installation and wiring.
- Determine the mounting location on your RV. Ensure no obstacle blocks the camera view. Recommended locations:
- For rear camera position: At the top center on the rear of your RV, as high as practicable (approximately 2 inches below the red marker light, if available).
- For doorway camera position: Above the top of the door.

- Use the gasket as a template to mark an outline on the desired mounting location. Drill a 5/8 inch center hole on the vehicle wall. Route the female connector of the camera power cable through the hole, leaving approximately 2 inches of slack.

- Connect the bare ends of the camera power cable to the nearest 12V/24V power supply:
- Red wire: +12V
- Black wire: Ground
- For rear camera position: Share the power line with the nearest marker light (e.g., the red marker light at the top center rear).
- For doorway camera position: Share the power line with your RV porch light or the nearest light source from the RV/trailer battery.
Note: Ensure the connected power line fuse provides an additional 1A fusing current for the camera. Use insulation tape for proper cable isolation of all bare ends.

- Fix the gasket and bracket using four #6 x 3/4" flat head self-tapping screws. Apply sealant around the gasket for better sealing.

Mount Camera
Note: If this camera is bundled with a Furrion Vision S+ monitor, it is paired by default. You can connect the camera male connector to the female connector of the camera power cable and temporarily restore power to check the pairing status before final installation.
If video feed is not visible on the monitor or if you have an unbundled camera, refer to the monitor's Quick Start Guide or the online user manual for pairing procedures.
- Screw the antenna onto the camera securely and keep it straight.
Diagram Description: Shows the antenna being screwed securely onto the camera.
- Connect the female connector of the camera power cable to the male connector of the camera. Place redundant cables inside the bracket housing. Attach the camera to the bracket with four #4 x 1/4" self-tapping screws.

- Adjust the camera's view angle by rotating it upwards or downwards (0-50 degrees) to see:
- For rear camera position: The bottom edge of your vehicle and the road conditions behind.
- For doorway camera position: The bottom edge of the door.
Diagram Description: Shows the camera's adjustable angle mechanism, allowing rotation from 0 to 50 degrees upwards or downwards, and indicating the resulting fields of view for rear and doorway camera positions.
