2. Children shall not have access to the appliance and its cord. The appliance must NOT be used by children. Close supervision is necessary if the appliance is used near children.
3. To avoid suffocation hazard for young children, remove and discard the protective cover fitted to the power plug of this appliance.
4. Children shall not play with this appliance.
5. The glass is hot during and after use. Risk of burns from contact when hot. ALWAYS use insulated handles when handling hot Ninja glass bowls.
6. To prevent fire, DO NOT place the appliance on or near hot surfaces, or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
7. The glass bowl and crisper plate insert will get very hot during cooking. Avoid direct body contact when removing the glass bowl, adapter, or plate from the appliance. DO NOT touch accessories during or immediately after cooking.

9. NEVER connect this appliance to an external timer switch or a separate remote-control system.
10. DO NOT use an extension cord. A short power-supply cord is used to reduce the risk of children grabbing or becoming entangled in the cord, and the risk of persons tripping over a longer cord.

17. This appliance is intended for household use ONLY. Use this appliance ONLY for its intended purpose. DO NOT use in moving vehicles or boats. DO NOT use outdoors. Misuse can cause injury.
18. Intended for countertop use ONLY. Ensure the surface is level, clean, and dry. DO NOT move the appliance while it is in use.

33. NEVER remove the finger guard from the Crispi PowerPod.

• DO NOT pour cold or cool liquids or foods into hot glass. DO NOT pour hot liquids or foods into cold glass.
• DO NOT let hot glass come into direct contact with cool or wet surfaces or objects. Allow glassware to cool completely before placing it in the sink, washing, cooling, or freezing.
37. The bowls are not suitable for oven, grill, or stovetop use. The bowls must be used EXCLUSIVELY with the Crispi PowerPod or in the microwave, not with other heat sources. Empty bowls must NOT be placed in the microwave.
38. Glass can break due to physical impact or shock and is more susceptible to breakage with temperature changes.
• Be careful not to scratch the glass when using metal utensils or knives.
• DO NOT use abrasive cleaning tools.
• DO NOT drop, strike glass bowls against hard objects, or hit them with utensils.
• DO NOT use or repair glass bowls that have been dropped, struck, cracked, or severely scratched.
• If a glass bowl breaks or chips, proceed with caution when cleaning up and wear thick gloves. Shards can be sharp and difficult to find.
• Dispose of broken glass - it CANNOT be recycled.
39. The Ninja TempWare glass bowls are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, you can hand wash the glass bowls with hot, soapy water, a non-abrasive detergent, and a plastic or nylon scrubbing brush if more thorough cleaning is required.
40. The plastic lids are for microwave and storage use ONLY and are BPA-free.

Before First Use

1. Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and tape from the appliance and dispose of them.
2. Unpack all accessories and read this manual carefully, paying close attention to operating instructions, warnings, and important safety precautions to avoid injury or property damage.
3. Clean the bowls, adapter, crisper plate inserts, and lids with hot, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. NEVER wash the Crispi PowerPod in a dishwasher.
4. Ensure at least 15 cm (6 inches) of space above and on all sides of the appliance for adequate air circulation during use.

Using Your Ninja Crispi

To turn on the Crispi PowerPod, plug in the power cord and press the START/POWER button.

Note: For best results, do NOT combine raw, frozen, and/or pre-cooked ingredients. Cook only ONE type of food at a time.

AIR FRY (Hot Air Frying)

1. Place a crisper plate insert into a Ninja glass bowl.
2. Add ingredients to the Ninja glass bowl.
3. Note: For best results, do NOT use the Air Fry function for frozen foods.
4. When placing the Crispi PowerPod onto the Ninja glass bowl, ensure the insulated handles are aligned to the sides of the pod, NOT front and back. The display will show "LID" if not attached correctly.
5. Note: For cooking with the large Ninja glass bowl, the adapter must be used. Insert the PowerPod into the adapter until it clicks, then place the adapter onto the glass bowl.
6. Press the MODE button to cycle through functions and select "AIR FRY". The default time will be displayed.
7. Use the TIME - and + buttons to set your desired cooking time.
8. Press the START/STOP button to begin the cooking process. The appliance will beep when cooking starts.
9. To turn or toss ingredients during cooking, remove the PowerPod (it will automatically pause when removed) or press the START/POWER button to pause cooking. Shake the bowl using the insulated handles or toss food with a silicone spatula. Place the PowerPod back onto the bowl and press START/POWER to resume cooking.
10. When cooking is complete, the PowerPod will beep and display "END". The PowerPod will begin to cool and can be safely removed from the bowl and placed directly on a countertop.
11. Serve directly from the bowl or remove ingredients using silicone tongs/utensils, or by tipping the bowl using the insulated handles.

RECRISP (Re-crisping)

1. Place a crisper plate insert into a Ninja glass bowl.
2. Add ingredients to the Ninja glass bowl.
3. Note: For best results, do NOT use the Recrisp function for frozen foods.
4. If you want to re-crisp multiple types of food at once, place a layer of ingredients on the bottom of the bowl. Then, insert the crisper plate and distribute a second layer of ingredients on top of the crisper plate.
5. When placing the Crispi PowerPod onto the Ninja glass bowl, ensure the insulated handles are aligned to the sides of the pod, NOT front and back. The display will show "LID" if not attached correctly.
6. Note: For cooking with the large Ninja glass bowl, the adapter must be used. Insert the PowerPod into the adapter until it clicks, then place the adapter onto the glass bowl.
7. Press the MODE button to cycle through functions and select "KEEP WARM". The default time will be displayed.
8. Use the TIME - and + buttons to set your desired cooking time.
9. Press the START/STOP button to begin the cooking process. The appliance will beep when cooking starts.
10. To turn or toss ingredients during cooking, remove the PowerPod (it will automatically pause when removed) or press the START/POWER button to pause cooking. KEEP WARM

3. When placing the Crispi PowerPod onto the Ninja glass bowl, ensure the insulated handles are aligned to the sides of the pod, NOT front and back. The display will show "LID" if not attached correctly.
4. Note: For cooking with the large Ninja glass bowl, the adapter must be used. Insert the PowerPod into the adapter until it clicks, then place the adapter onto the glass bowl.
5. Press the MODE button to cycle through functions and select "MAX CRISP". The default time will be displayed.

8. When cooking is complete, the PowerPod will beep and display "END". The PowerPod will begin to cool and can be safely removed from the bowl and placed directly on a countertop.

ROAST (Braten)

1. Place a crisper plate insert into a Ninja glass bowl.
2. Add ingredients to the Ninja glass bowl.
3. When placing the Crispi PowerPod onto the Ninja glass bowl, ensure the insulated handles are aligned to the sides of the pod, NOT front and back. The display will show "LID" if not attached correctly.

Cleaning and Care

The Crispi PowerPod should be cleaned thoroughly after each use. ALWAYS allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.

Helpful Tips

• The heat-resistant base of the Ninja glass bowls allows you to cook safely on any countertop without causing heat damage.
• The insulated handles on the Ninja glass bowls allow for safe handling of the bowls after cooking.
• For even browning, ensure ingredients are spread evenly on the bottom of the bowl and do not overlap. If ingredients overlap, shake them halfway through cooking.
• Cooking temperature and function can be adjusted at any time during the cooking process. Press the TIME - and + buttons or the MODE button to adjust time and function.
• Check food frequently to avoid overcooking.
• The Crispi PowerPod automatically pauses when removed from the Ninja glass bowl. To resume cooking, place the Crispi PowerPod back onto the Ninja glass bowl and press the START/POWER button.
• The feet on the Crispi PowerPod allow you to place the pod directly on a countertop after use.
• Note: Discontinue use of the Crispi PowerPod if any of its feet are broken or damaged.
• Occasionally, the fan may swirl light ingredients around in the air fryer. To prevent this, secure certain foods (e.g., the top slice of bread on a sandwich) with a toothpick.
• For faster cooking, cut protein into 1.5 cm (0.6 inch) pieces.
• The crisper plate insert positions ingredients higher in the basket, allowing air to circulate around them for evenly crisp results.
• For best results, remove food immediately after the cooking time has ended to prevent overcooking.
• For best results with fresh vegetables and potatoes, use at least 1 tablespoon of oil. Add more oil as desired for crispiness.
• For best results, monitor cooking progress and remove food when desired browning is achieved. Use an instant-read thermometer to check the internal temperature of meat and fish. Remove food immediately after cooking is complete to prevent overcooking.

Troubleshooting

• Must my appliance be preheated? No, the appliance does not require preheating.
• When should I use the MAX CRISP function instead of AIR FRY? The Max Crisp function is ideal for frozen foods like french fries or chicken nuggets.
• Why is "LID" displayed on the screen? The Crispi PowerPod has not been attached correctly to a Ninja glass bowl. Ensure the PowerPod is aligned correctly with the bowl and is level. If using the adapter, ensure the PowerPod is fully inserted into the adapter.
• How do I pause the countdown? Pressing the START/POWER button or lifting the Crispi PowerPod from the bowl during cooking will pause the cooking function.
• Can I safely place the Crispi PowerPod on the countertop? Yes, the pod can be safely placed on any countertop with or without the adapter, during or after cooking.
• Can I safely place the Crispi glass bowls on my countertop? Yes, the heat-resistant base of the Ninja glass bowls allows them to be placed on any countertop during or after cooking.
• How do I know when to use the crisper plate insert? Use the crisper plate insert when you want your food to be crispy. The insert lifts food higher in the basket, allowing air to circulate underneath for evenly cooked ingredients.
• My food is not cooked. Ensure the Crispi PowerPod has been attached correctly to a Ninja glass bowl. For even browning, ingredients should be arranged in a single layer on the bottom of the compartment without overlapping. Use the insulated handles on the glass bowls to shake loose ingredients for evenly crisp results. Cooking temperature and function can be adjusted at any time during cooking. Simply press the TIME arrows or the MODE button.
• My food is burnt. For best results, monitor cooking progress and remove food once desired browning is achieved. Remove food immediately after cooking time is complete to prevent overcooking.
• Why are some ingredients swirling around during air frying? Occasionally, the fan may swirl light ingredients around in the air fryer. To prevent this, secure lightweight foods, such as the top slice of a sandwich, with a toothpick.
• Can I air fry fresh breaded items? Yes, but use the correct breading technique. It is important to coat the food first with flour, then egg, and finally breadcrumbs. Press the breadcrumbs firmly to ensure they adhere well. The appliance's powerful fan can blow off loose breading.
• Why is the appliance beeping? The appliance beeps when the cooking function starts and again when it is complete.
• The display turned black. The appliance is in standby mode. Press the START/POWER button to turn the appliance back on.
• The display shows a lid error. Ensure that when using the large bowl, the adapter is fully inserted and the Crispi Pod is correctly seated on the bowl.
• The display shows "E". The appliance is not functioning correctly. Please contact Customer Service at +49 800 000 9063.

Two (2) Year Limited Warranty

For consumers purchasing a product in Germany, you automatically receive your statutory warranty rights regarding product defects. You can assert these statutory rights against your retailer or against us if you purchased the product directly from Ninja. The exercise of these statutory rights is free of charge.

However, Ninja has such confidence in the quality of its products that it offers an additional manufacturer's warranty of two (2) years. The warranty period begins upon delivery of the product. This warranty does not limit your statutory rights arising from the purchase contract with the retailer or the retailer's obligations under the purchase contract. This also applies to us if you purchased the product directly from Ninja.

Where is the warranty valid geographically?

Please note that the two-year warranty applies to all products purchased from a retailer (online and offline) based in the EU.

How do I claim the warranty?

The call is free of charge, and you will be connected to a representative immediately. Please have your proof of purchase ready. Please always keep your proof of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim, we will need the proof of purchase to verify the information you have provided. If you cannot provide valid proof of purchase, you will forfeit your warranty claim.

What is covered by the warranty?

Repair or replacement of your product (at our discretion), including all parts and labor for defects in construction, material, and workmanship (including transport and shipping costs).

What is NOT covered by the warranties?

• Normal wear and tear.
• Accidental damage, faults caused by negligent use or care, misuse, neglect, careless or improper handling of the household appliance not in accordance with the instructions in the supplied Ninja® user manual for your appliance.
• Use of the appliance for purposes other than normal household use.
• Use of parts not assembled or installed in accordance with the instructions in the user manual.
• Use of parts and accessories that are not original Ninja® components.
• Faulty installation (unless installation was carried out by Ninja).
