Product Description

The device features a compact design. Key components include:

• Microphone: For audio recording.
• Power Light Indicator (green): Indicates device status.
• Main Button: Press and hold for 3 seconds to enable/disable WiFi. Press and hold for 10 seconds to restart the device.

SIM Card & Micro SD Card

Insert a compatible Micro SIM card and a Micro SD card into the designated slots. The device supports Micro SD cards up to 512GB (Class 10 recommended, e.g., SANDISK).

Note: Insert SIM card and SD card only when the device is powered OFF.

Product Installation

Important Notice

• Park the vehicle on level ground and turn off the engine before installation. Avoid parking on slopes or inclined roads.
• Read the packing list and thoroughly inspect all components upon unpacking.
• When positioning the device, ensure it does not obstruct the driver's visibility or the adjustment of the rear-view mirror or sun visor.
• The forward monitoring camera lens must be within the working range of the windscreen wipers.
• Choose an installation position that allows for easy replacement and maintenance of the Micro SD card and Micro SIM card.

Installation Steps

1. Step 1: Insert SIM and SD Card: Insert the Micro SIM card and Micro SD Card into the device as indicated.
2. Step 2: Mount the Device: Typically, install the device in the middle of the windshield, above the center line and near the rear-view mirror. A deviation of less than 5 cm to the left or right is acceptable. Ensure the forward camera lens is within the windshield wiper's range and the unit does not obstruct the driver's view. Clean the installation area on the windshield with an alcohol swab, ensuring no dirt or debris remains on the glass. Remove the protective film from the 3M tape on the mounting base, attach it to the windshield, and press firmly for 10 seconds to ensure no air bubbles.
3. Step 3: Connect Power: Route the power cable via the roof and A-pillar to the vehicle's fuse box. Connect the Yellow wire to a fuse socket providing continuous 12V supply (even when the vehicle is OFF). Connect the Red wire (ACC) to a fuse socket that provides +12V supply only when the vehicle is in accessory mode. Secure the Black wire (Earth) to any nut, screw, or metallic part of the vehicle.

Downloading the Mobile App

Download the Blaupunkt DashCam Track APP for iOS or Android phones by scanning the provided QR code. The app is essential for device communication and data access.

User Registration & Account Creation

After downloading the app, you will be prompted to create a USER ID and PASSWORD. This process may involve providing the following details:

• Unique IMEI number of the device.
• Unique IMSI number of the SIM card.
• A copy of your vehicle's RC (Registration Certificate).
• A copy of your Aadhar card (mandatory for SIM activation).
• Your registered Mobile Number, Email Address, and Full Name.

Creating Username & Password:

1. Open the downloaded App and click 'Sign Up' on the LOGIN screen.
2. Enter your 10-digit mobile number, create and confirm your password, then click 'Create Account'.
3. Accept the terms and conditions by pressing 'Yes, I agree'.
4. Enter the 4-digit OTP received in the app to complete the process and receive a "Success" message.

Configuration Notes

Ensure the vehicle is turned ON and parked under a clear sky during device configuration. Avoid parking under obstructions like roofs or basements. The configuration process typically takes 25-30 minutes.

Navigating the App

Tracking Page

The Tracking Page provides the following information:

• Vehicle location on a map with the physical address.
• Option to share vehicle location (current and live).
• Path replay, distance covered, maximum speed, and idle time.
• Daily path and trip path details.
• Current speed and odometer reading.

Key elements on the app interface include: Tracking Tools, List of Vehicles, Tools/Main Menu, High Security Mode, and List of Events.

Vehicles Page

The Vehicles Page displays:

• A list of vehicles associated with your username.
• Address and last update time of each vehicle's location.
• DashCam GPS and Network Status.
• Ignition/Movement status of the vehicle.
• Current speed of the vehicle.
• Tapping on a vehicle navigates to its map location.

Notifications

The Notifications section allows users to:

• Select specific vehicles and notification types.
• View vehicle number, time, address, and type of notification.
• Filter notifications based on user preference.

Live Streaming Feature

To access live streaming:

1. Navigate to the 'TOOLS' section of the app.
2. Click on the 'STREAMING' option.
3. Select 'Live Stream' to view cameras in real-time or 'History' to review previous recordings.
