Your comprehensive guide to setting up and using your Amazfit Bip.
The Amazfit Bip watch features a trans-reflective color LCD touch screen and a side button for control.
Navigate the screen by swiping up, down, left, and right. The watch displays the dial interface by default.
Visual Description: Two diagrams showing a hand interacting with the watch screen. The first shows a finger swiping up, indicating access to notifications. The second shows a finger swiping down, indicating access to DND mode and status.
Wear the watch two fingers' width below your wrist bone to ensure the optical heart rate monitor accurately collects data during all-day wear.
Do NOT wear the watch too tight. It should be slightly tighter (snug, but not constricting) during exercise compared to all-day wearing.
To charge your Amazfit Bip:
Note: The charger adapter output values are DC 5.0V/500mA. It is recommended to use brand phone power adapters or charge the watch by connecting to a computer.

You can choose which items to display on the watch, such as "Status", "Activities", "Weather", "Alarm", "Timer", and "Compass".
(To configure: Open Mi Fit App → Profile → My devices → Amazfit Bip → Watch display settings → Hold the Sort button to rearrange items).
"Watch face" and "Settings" are displayed on the watch by default.
Open Mi Fit App → Profile → My devices → Amazfit Bip → Watch face settings. Tap on your selection and sync it to your watch.
Swipe down from the home screen of the watch and tap on DND. You will have two options: "Now" and "Auto".
Visual Description: Two watch screen diagrams. The first shows a watch face displaying "5:20 PM". The second shows a watch face displaying "Battery charged".
Enable "App alerts" in the Mi Fit App and ensure Bluetooth is turned on on your mobile device.
When the watch receives a notification, it will vibrate and automatically display the content. If not viewed immediately, you can find it later by swiping up from the watch face.
The watch can save up to 10 recent notifications. Once this limit is exceeded, the oldest notification is automatically deleted when a new one is received. If notification content exceeds one screen, it will display on a second screen, but content beyond the second screen will not be displayed.
Visual Description: A watch screen displaying a notification from "mobile" with text content, showing a typical notification display.
The "Status" widget displays steps, last-minute heart rate, mileage, calories burned, and sedentary times.
Heart rate is measured automatically when you tap "Status".

From the home screen, swipe left to find "Activity" for more details. Refer to the Activity Tracking section for comprehensive information.
From the home screen, swipe left to find "Weather". Tap "Weather" to view the current day's weather and the next several days.
You can turn alarms on/off directly from the watch and add new alarms via the Mi Fit App. Up to 10 alarms can be stored on the watch.

The timer includes a stopwatch and a countdown timer.

Swiping the dial to the right provides a quick view of weather information.
There are two ways to start an Activity:
Amazfit Bip supports outdoor running, treadmill, cycling, and walking.
Before starting an activity, ensure sufficient storage space on the watch. If space is low, unsynchronized activity data may be overwritten. It is recommended to connect and sync data immediately after finishing an activity to prevent data loss.
For sports modes requiring GPS (outdoor running, cycling, walking), start the activity after GPS successfully acquires a location.
If the GPS option is initiated and started, the watch will provide a three-second countdown before tracking begins.
From the home screen, swipe left to access "Activity" → "Activity settings". Tap "Activity settings" to set "Auto pause", "Heart rate alert", "Pace alert", and "Distance alert".
Set a value for the watch to alert you if your heart rate exceeds it.
Visual Description: A watch screen displaying "166 Heart rate is too high".
Set a target pace for the watch to alert you if your pace falls below it.
Set a desired distance for the watch to alert you (e.g., vibrate every 2 mile/km).
The watch vibrates to remind you if space is insufficient to continue the activity. Choosing "Continue" will overwrite unsynchronized data. Choosing "End" will stop the activity.
If you run out of space during an activity, you will be alerted by vibration, and the watch will automatically save the activity record.
When choosing an outdoor activity, the watch will vibrate once GPS is successfully positioned.
On the activity interface, long press the key to pause the activity; short press the key to switch the screen. You can also switch screens by swiping up or down manually.
Visual Description: Two watch screen diagrams. The first shows activity data: "00:00:35", "0'00" 10.35", "112 bpm", with a note "Short press to switch the screen". The second shows activity data with options to swipe up/down: "11.13 km", "6'33" pace", "21.02 kcal".
Press and hold the physical button to pause the activity. The paused interface will display. Tap "Continue" to resume or "End" to stop.
Note: If you ran less than 50 meters, the watch will prompt "distance is too short to save".
You can view activity history from both your watch and the Mi Fit App.
From the home screen, swipe left to access "Activity" → "Activity history". If an unsynchronized activity record exists, an unsynchronized icon will appear. This icon disappears after successful synchronization. Tap an activity record to view detailed data.
Open the Mi Fit App → Click "Activity" below the home page to view all synchronized activity records.
From the home screen, swipe left to access "Activity" → "Activity history" → Swipe up until you see "Delete".
Note: Ensure the activity is synchronized with the app before deleting it from the watch. To delete the record from the app, you must do so manually within the app.
From the home screen, swipe left to access "Activity" → "Activity settings". Tap "Activity settings" to configure "Auto pause", "Heart rate alert", "Pace alert", and "Distance alert". Once activated, corresponding reminders will be performed during the activity.
When you select outdoor running, the watch automatically searches for a GPS signal. You can skip this step by clicking "Skip", but the watch will continue searching for GPS during your activity.
Assisted GPS (A-GPS) is a system that allows GPS receivers to obtain information from network resources to aid satellite location. An A-GPS system is particularly useful in locations where satellite signals are difficult to penetrate.
A-GPS helps your watch quickly find your precise position and improve accuracy. A-GPS data updates once a day. The latest A-GPS data is automatically updated each time you sync with the Mi Fit App.
Note: If the watch has not synced with your Mi Fit App for 7 days, A-GPS data will expire. Positioning speed may be affected when A-GPS expires.
During activity, the watch calculates your heart rate zone based on your personal information. The heart rate zone helps determine the effect and intensity of the activity. The current heart rate zone is displayed next to the heart rate on the watch. After the activity, you can view the duration in each heart rate zone from the "Details" page of Activity history on the app.
There are six default zones (Relaxed, Light, Weight, Aerobic, Anaerobic, and VO2 max), calculated based on the estimated maximum heart rate. The watch calculates the maximum heart rate using the commonly used "220 minus age" formula.
Amazfit Bip is water-resistant, but NOT waterproof.
