Important Safeguards

• Read all Instructions.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off," then remove plug from wall outlet.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• Always ensure the lid is closed and do not lift it while the water is boiling. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycles.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• The kettle can only be used with the stand provided.
• WARNING: avoid spillage on the connector.
• WARNING: Risks of injuries if you don't use this appliance correctly.
• WARNING: The heating element surface is subjected to residual heat after use.
• If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.

Short Cord Instruction

A short power-supply cord (or detached power-supply cord) is to be provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a long cord.

Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.

If a long detachable power-supply cords or extension cord is used:

1. The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
2. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
3. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.

Using Product

Guidelines for Brew Coffee/Tea (with Brewing Basket)

• To make it easier for users to brew tea and coffee with steams, a coffee/tea brewing basket is designed for Beverage maker.
• When brewing tea, the coffee/tea brewing basket can separate the tea leaves and the water, which can prevent the tea from becoming bitter due to over-soaking.
• When brewing coffee, multiple servings can be brewed at once, making it convenient for sharing.
• Please make sure the lid is closed during the brewing process. Otherwise, it might lead to the risk of scalding caused by the splash of water.

Operating Instructions

1. Add an appropriate amount of water to the Beverage maker. Please control the amount of water between 200mL to 300mL.
2. After putting the coffee powder/tea leaves into the coffee/tea brewing basket, place the basket into the Beverage maker filled with water. (Note: Please do not exceed the 20g marking line when adding coffee powder)
3. Close the brewer lid tight to begin brewing.
4. After the tea/coffee brewing process is completed, directly pour it into a cup to enjoy.

Guidelines for Keep Warm Mode

The default setting of the product is to keep warm for 8 hours after cooking, when the lamp circle flashes slowly, it means that the product is keeping warm.

For more personalized products, the automatic keep warm mode can be canceled. The specific method is as follows:

1. Insert the power plug to power on the product, and wait for the device to enter the standby mode.
2. Touch and hold the "Cooking" button for 3 seconds until you hear a long beep, which means the automatic Keep warm mode is canceled.
3. If you need to restart the Keep warm mode, repeat the operation once.

Remarks: After power on, firstly need to touch the "Cooking" button for 3 seconds, otherwise the automatic keep warm mode cannot be canceled.

Initial Use

1. Remove all packaging, labels, and accessories from the inside and outside of the product. Before using the product for the first time, we recommend that you do the boiling point detection operation (see P9 for details).
2. Pour away the water in the first 2-3 times of boiling for cleaning, and then wipe the outside of beverage maker parts with a damp cloth (please note that the electrical connectors on the bottom and base should not touch the water).

Fast Installation

1. Plug the power cord into the socket.
2. Power on.

Using Product

Guidelines for Users

1. Open the lid: Hold the lid handle tightly and pull it upward to remove the lid.
2. Add ingredients.
3. Add appropriate amount of pure water.
   • Do not add water and ingredients above the maximum water level or below the minimum water level.
   • If the water is exceed the Max level, the water may splash out when boiling.
   • Never pour milk or soya milk directly into the beverage maker to prevent the paste at the bottom. Except the "104°F" mode.
4. Close the lid tightly: Place the lid on the pot as shown in the figure. Make sure the silicone groove of the lid is aligned with the handle. If the lid is not assembled properly, it will fall easily when you pour water.

Panel Operation Guide

1. Function selection: After the product is powered on, you can touch the Temp. button to select the boiling water temperature, or touch the Cooking button to select the cooking time. At this time, the selected function button light is on, and the Start/Pause button flashes.
2. Function confirmation and start: After selecting the mode, you need to touch the Start/Pause button and the machine starts the program. At this time, the selected function key light is on, and the Start/Pause button light is on.
3. Keep warm mode: If the product has the automatic keep warm mode turned on, it automatically enters the mode after cooking is completed. Please refer to P5 of the instruction manual for details. At this time, the corresponding function button light circle flashes slowly, and the Start/Pause button light is still on. Remarks: When the "104°F" mode is selected, the corresponding light will also light up, representing the corresponding temperature of keep warm. For the remaining modes, the temperature is kept at 140°F for 8 hours, and the light strip does not light up.

Boiling Point Detection

Boiling Point Detection Memory Program

• In non-zero altitude areas, the water cannot reach 212°F when boiling, which will cause the ordinary beverage maker to not work properly (the tripout is too slow or even cannot work normally.)
• BUYDEEM recommends that you perform a boiling point detection operation when using the product for the first time. After the detection is completed, the chip will record the accurate boiling point data and you need no to repeat the detection before using the product next time.
• After the boiling point detection, the product can work more accurately (the performance is better than that of the factory setting).
• If you are in a city with an altitude higher than 250m, be sure to perform the boiling point detection before using the product.

Start the Boiling Point Detection

1. Add water to the 600ml water level line. If the amount of water is insufficient or excessive, it will affect the detection results.
2. Firstly, plug in the power plug to power the product on.

1. Touch the Temp. button for 3 seconds, until the Start/Pause button flashes. Remarks: After the product is powered on, you need to first press the Temp. button for 3 seconds, otherwise you cannot start the boiling point detection.
2. At this time, press the Start/Pause button, and the light strip flashes from left to right, indicating that the machine has entered the boiling point detection mode. After the detection is completed, a shutdown sound will sound, and the detection work will automatically end and the product will enter the standby state.

Features

Product Pause Memory Function

When the product is working in accordance with the procedure, you can pause it by pressing the Start/Pause button. Within 1 hour, continue the previous work by pressing the Start/Pause button. The product will continue the unfinished program time before the pause, and the function program will not be executed again.

Avoid Mis-operation

Within 30 seconds after the product starts working, you can press Time and Temp. to switch the mode. After switching, you need to press the Start/Pause button again to ensure the product enter the cooking state. In order to avoid mis-operation, the function cannot be switched after the beverage maker starts working for 30 seconds.

If you need to switch functions, you need to press the Start/Pause button first, and when the button flashes, select the program to be switched.

Cold Water Protection

When the product is working, if you add cold water during cooking, product will automatically boil the water and then perform the unfinished program. No need to worry about the hidden danger of cold food.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning

1. Unplug the power plug.
2. After the product cools down, clean the inside with a wet sponge. Note: Do not immerse the glass body, power cord, or plug in water (the electronic connector at the bottom of the pot must not touch the water).
3. Please clean the product in time after each use.

Descaling

The product needs to be descaled regularly, at least once a month, and the cleaning times should increase if the water quality is poor. If there are spots on the heating plate, they are the scale, which is a normal phenomenon. It can be cleaned away by scrubbing with a scouring pad. If the scale is too much, the following methods can be used for descaling.

Descaling Tips

• Use white vinegar
  • Add 100ml of white vinegar to the product.
  • Fill it with water to the 200ml mark and activate the "212°F" boiling water mode.
  • After the procedure, let it stand for 1 hour, and then wipe the bottom of the pot with a scouring pad.
• Use baking soda
  • Add 5g of baking soda to the product.
  • Fill it with water to the 200ml mark and activate the "212°F" boiling water mode.
  • After the product is automatic powered off, let it stand for 5-10 minutes.
  • Finally, pour the water out and wipe the bottom of the pot with a scouring pad.
