Important Safeguards
General Safety Precautions
- Read all instructions.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, do not immerse the cord, plugs, base, or body in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Always attach the plug to the appliance first, then plug the cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off," then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
- Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
- Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycles.
Cord Safety
- A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce risks from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
- Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised.
- If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
- The marked electrical rating should be at least as great as the appliance's rating.
- If the appliance is grounded, the extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
- The longer cord should be arranged so it does not drape over the counter or table where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
Specific Dangers and Warnings
- Dangerous: Do not use this product without supervision, as there may be fire and other hazards.
- Dangerous: To prevent electric shock or short circuit, do not put the product, base, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
- Warning: This product must use an earthing socket with a rated current of more than 10A and a rated voltage of 120V~60Hz separately. Ensure the plug is fully inserted into the socket to avoid overheating and component burning due to poor contact, which may lead to dangers like short circuit or fire.
- Warning: Do not use an all-purpose socket.
- Keep the beverage maker and power cord away from high temperature, open flame, damp, smooth surfaces, or sharp edges to prevent device damage, malfunction, or fire.
- Prohibit use when hands are wet or with bare feet.
Product Usage and Environment
- This product is designed for home use only. Commercial use or failure to comply with instructions may void the warranty.
- Check that the voltage indicated on the product label matches your main voltage before use.
- Use only with the matched base. Do not use any other base.
- Keep the product on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant worktable.
- Ensure the upper cover is properly closed before use to prevent burns.
- Do not heat sealed containers in the kettle; this may cause an explosion risk.
- Do not operate the product beyond the maximum water level or below the minimum water level. Overfilling may cause boiling water to splash out. Underfilling may cause dry burning and paste the bottom.
- The product should be moisture-proof and frost-proof. Do not put it in the refrigerator.
- To prevent electrical shock or fire, disconnect the power supply when the product is empty, not in use, being cleaned or moved, or if components are damaged or malfunctioning.
- It is recommended to drain the water from the kettle if not used for a long time.
- To unplug, hold the plug and pull it out by hand. Do not force or twist the power cord to prevent damage and electrical leakage.
- Do not hang the power cord outside the desk or worktable edge to prevent the dispenser from falling or causing a trip.
- Do not use non-recommended methods for descaling.
- If product components are damaged or malfunctioning, unplug immediately and take it to an authorized BUYDEEM service center for replacement or maintenance. Do not attempt to disassemble.
- Any abnormal operation, other than cleaning and descaling as instructed, must be performed by an authorized BUYDEEM service center.
- Unusual use or complete failure due to lack of descaling is beyond the warranty coverage.
- Traces of product use may be present as all products undergo random quality control testing, including actual use testing.

Before First Use
- Wash the inside of the kettle, the tea infuser, and the lid with mild detergent and water. Rinse each thoroughly. The tea infuser is the ONLY item dishwasher safe.
- Do not use scouring pads, steel wool, strong solvents, or abrasive cleaning agents, as they can damage the appliance's external surfaces.
- Allow the appliance to dry fully after cleaning before using.
- CAUTION: The appliance must not be used if the base or the underside of the appliance is wet.
- Your tea maker is now ready for use!
Using Your Tea Maker
Setup
- Position the power base on a flat, heat-resistant surface, close to a power outlet.
- Route the power cord through the designated channels in the power base to ensure it lies flat.
- CAUTION: Do not operate the kettle if the power base is not flat. If it's not flat, remove the kettle and repeat cord placement.
- Add fresh cold water to the desired level.
- CAUTION: Do not exceed the "MAX" water level mark indicated on the kettle.
- Place the kettle lid on top, ensuring it aligns with the handle.
- Place the infuser lid onto the infuser holder. To lock, turn it until it aligns with the 'closed' indicator.
- Note: Do not install the tea infuser unless you are making tea.
- Plug the electric cord into an outlet. All indicator lights will turn on briefly, then off, with the Stop button remaining lit (blue) to indicate ready mode.
- The kettle is ready to use.
Boil Water
- To boil water, press the "BOIL" button. The Boil button will light up, and the Stop button will pulse red during heating.
- When the water reaches boiling point, the kettle will beep once and automatically switch to keep warm mode.
- Note: The kettle can be removed from the base during keep warm mode for use, but should be returned to maintain the keep warm functionality. The unit will cycle on and off to maintain a constant 195°F (88°C) once the water cools slightly. The unit will automatically switch off after 30 minutes.
- To turn off the keep warm mode at any time, press "STOP".
- Hot water is ready for use.
Make Tea
To make tea, follow these steps after setting up the tea maker and kettle:
Heat Water
- After adding cold water, select the button corresponding to your preferred tea type by pressing it once.
- During heating, the selected tea button will pulse, and the Stop button will be solid red.
- When the water reaches the proper temperature, the kettle will beep, and the tea button will flash, indicating it's time to add tea.
Add Tea
- Fill the tea infuser with the desired amount of tea. A general recommendation is 1 to 1.5 teaspoons or 1 tea bag per cup of water, but follow tea supplier recommendations for optimal results.
- Open the tea infuser lid by turning it until it aligns with the 'open' indicator.
- Place the tea infuser into the infuser holder, aligning its handle with the kettle handle.
- Gently press the tea leaves down with a spoon to ensure they are fully immersed in water during steeping.
- Place the main lid on top of the tea infuser to lock it. Turn it until it aligns with the 'closed' indicator.
Set Steeping Time
- To set the default steeping time, press the same tea type button again.
- When steeping is complete, the kettle will beep, and the lights will flash. It will then automatically enter keep warm mode. It is recommended to remove the tea infuser to avoid over-steeping.
- Note: The kettle can be removed from the base during keep warm mode for use, but should be returned to the base to maintain the keep warm functionality. The kettle will cycle on and off to maintain temperature. It will automatically switch off after 60 minutes.
- If you do not want the keep warm mode, press "STOP".
- Tea is ready; pour and enjoy!
Custom Steeping Time
To set a custom steeping time, replace step 8 (Set Steeping Time) with the following:
- Within 3 seconds of pressing the tea type button, press the same button again. For each additional minute you want to steep, press the button again. The kettle will beep once for each minute selected to confirm the setting.
- For example, to steep for 4 minutes: press the button 5 times continuously (1 time to enter custom mode + 4 times for the minutes). The kettle will beep 4 times.
Keep Warm Mode
The product features a keep-warm function that maintains tea at a pre-determined temperature for 60 minutes and boiled water for 30 minutes. This is ideal for steeping, family breakfasts, and cooking. The keep warm feature does not re-boil water.
- After steeping or boiling is complete, the kettle will beep and automatically enter keep warm mode.
- Note: The kettle can be removed from the base during keep warm mode for use, but should be returned to the base to maintain the keep warm functionality.
- The keep warm mode will shut off automatically after 60 minutes for tea or 30 minutes for boiled water.
- To disable keep warm mode, press the "STOP" button.
Turn Off The Unit
To stop the heating process, press the "STOP/OFF" button once. To turn off the unit completely, press and hold the "STOP/OFF" button until the indicator light goes off.
Care And Cleaning Instructions
Cleaning Your Kettle
- Mineral deposits from tap water may cause scale buildup inside the kettle. To remove scale: fill the kettle with a solution of 3 cups of white vinegar and 3 cups of water. Let it sit overnight.
- Empty the vinegar solution. Remove any remaining stains inside by rubbing with a damp cloth.
- Fill the kettle with clean water, place it on the power base, bring to a boil, and then discard the water. Repeat this step to ensure the kettle is ready for use.
- The kettle will not operate again until the Power Button is pressed down.
- The outside of the kettle can be wiped with a soft damp cloth.
- CAUTION: Do not immerse the kettle or power base in water or any other liquid.
- Note: Never use chemical cleaners, steel wool, or abrasive cleaners on any part of the kettle, including the power base.
Anti Boil-Dry Device
If the appliance is switched on without water or with a low water level, the anti boil-dry device will automatically switch it off. The appliance can be switched on again once it is filled with a sufficient amount of water.
Maintenance
This appliance has no user-serviceable parts beyond the care and cleaning described. Any other servicing should be performed only by an authorized service representative.
